Ive never dealt with them, but a quick review of their site looks like if the part says Iwata parts then it is real. Seems like a phone call could resolve this matter.
I do and do not like it. The glitter doesnt shine the same as D2t. I will be returning to D2T. I feel like it truly brings out the colors and glitter in your paint job. My .02
That sounds good. Nice baits! You are airbrushing right? My main concern is how to get the crappie speckels with an airbrush. I may try the toothpick trick.
No im thinking of the realistic pattern. I want to know how to make the black and green on top blend. what kind of gun do you have single action or dual? turning the air down to 9-10 psi and knocking the trigger down while pulling paint works well for my iwata.
I also have the dvd and think that it is great. The guy is very clear and informative. If you are looking for advanced techniques then this isnt for you. If you want to know how to foil, paint bluegill and splatter baits then buy it. I found it very helpful as a visual learning aid.

It seems on the old site that someone was using a coat sealer before they sprayed the next. Any idea of the products name? Does it keep a dark color from ruining a light?
Thanks gentlemen, the help is greatly appreciated! Have a wonderful Holiday, Ed.
I have run into paint wrinkling if I try to put the clear hours after painting. Let the paint cure on a shelf for a day or two. It works for me.
Iwata hands down. They paint like a dream. I personally use a High Performance C plus.
Buy a tool air compressor with a pressure regulator and buy fittings to adapt the brush.
I have the top of the line metal model with all of the attachments. The air brush is great. The only thing that I have problems with is clogging (probably my fault). That changed with a good aircompressor. Stay AWAY from the hobby ones! One more thing....Use model masters acryllic paint! Works really good with this brush and the performance of the paint is awesome.
I would use those elmers paint markers. They can be bought at walmart. They come in all kinds of colors. Michaels also carries a large selection. Make him wear nitrile gloves so there is no contact to worry about.
