I also use the expensive A7778 Aztek, and the pink splatter nozzle works if you turn the air down to 10 psi and knock the trigger while pulling paint. Just done it last night

i have found that that flo yellow goes good over flat white primer and light coating then dry three times usually does the trick. My aztek is picky on thickness of the paint and i also have to thin. I use water with my acryllic createx. I use acryllic thinner with other paints. i stir with popsicle sticks in a baby jar to mix.

I think that mustad makes a tool for that, check in jans or barlows. i think that it is a jig eye cleaner. Hope it helps Red

Createx seems to work great out of the bottle. I use model masters acryllic and they can be a little pricey. They also have to be thinned down alot. Getting that right amount of thinning is a job sometimes.

Can you paint these baits without primer since they are already white ish?

That is a good idea, after I started to push on the baits they started to move. A couple didnt though. That is a great idea on replacing the lip! I will have to try that. How do you know if the bait is centered? Do you line it up with the middle of the line tie?

I got the lures today and the weird thing is that they did come with the yellow disclaimer but all of them are solid as a rock. :?They are pretty nice, so ill paint them and see how well they work. Then d2t and they should be set.

I have thought about painting these eyes on, but was looking for a easy button I guess . I have some ideas churning, so I will see if they work. Thanks for the tips!

I remember the michaels store having createx paint but their selection was few. I cant remember what they had, because they were closing and the workers were pressuring everybody to leave. I like that hazmail, I am looking for a darker silver kinda like the Oakland raiders dirty silver. Thanks guys!

Well....I live in East TN and I think that it will take a little longer! The sound pretty quick though, I cant wait! how do the baits compare to the ones they are modeled after? Are they cheaply made? Right now i am sanding bandits down and that is getting old and expensive!

so even though you paint the scales on second to last they still show through? Im in the same boat as snooterfish. Do you use D2T?
