I am keen to insert a rattle, I have a brass cylinder and I am just placing a small sinker into it but I am unsure where to drill it into my lure? The lure has a wide action and I believe the rattle would work better if it was lower but by some pictures I see they are higher up the lure. The higher up the lure you go the less swing you get from the action but will it still work in the middle of the lure if the cylinder wasnt to wide? I dont have enough brass cylinders to waste and find out?

Just some crank baits i have been making. I attempted to carve my own gills, improve with techniques using my airbrush and improved strength. All of them have a good action and swim well. The green lure caught me a redfin on my first cast.

hey guys, i was unsure where to post this but I have not found any information in the previous posts or other threads. I have windows vista on both computers and the latest internet explorer and yet no images will show on TU this only happens on this site. It mainly occurs when I am looking in the gallery. Photos in threads I can view and they do show but not in gallery when i click the image or go into the post to read the informationa nd check the image out. Has anybody had this issue or know how to resolve it?

yeh i am a sucker for stumpies, very highly rated and are lures which take most of our cod and yellows. the bibs can suck for changing but its a good idea. once you bend the bib on a correct angle i believe it slips out?

i love these lures alot. i never grew up reading or seing these lures but they are common to my step dads tackle box now. Very common on native species in Australia a while back -
