i love these lures alot. i never grew up reading or seing these lures but they are common to my step dads tackle box now. Very common on native species in Australia a while back

i love the idea, i remember also seing a truck lure with a fish on the end of it. You never know it may work on a very very very lucky day.

Thanks guys for all you information. I now have a new lure uploaded where it is improved alot. No I have tested this lure and it swims deep and has a wide action. It swims really well at high speeds aswell. I wanted a fairly big bib for diving deep where we tend to fish. We hit around the 6-8m mark when fishing. This lure does not swims sideways but perfectly straight. Great tips and i will take them all in thank you guys, but this lure is of poor quality before I bought all of my gear like air brush, epoxy, polycarbonate/lexan and clear gloss. If I was to redo this lure I would put a smaller bib to create a tighter action and not use it to troll the deeps of 6-8m but maybe for casting at banks where frogs would tend to be.

thanks, yeah It isnt my first lure, but my first attempt with all the proper stuff like lexan, clear gloss and my first use of my new airbrush. I spose you could say the past ones i made where just muck arounds but this is my first real lure. Thanks for the comment Im glad I inspired you. You might not be able to see it, but I drilled 2 small screws into the lure where the trebles would sit to make an emphasis on a fishing lure. Its upto you how you want it to look, I thought people would distinguish this as a lure straight away then.
