Reminds me of some kind of mold or something, nice work.
  6. Kellure,Thanks very much for your kind offer,I have sent you a pm. Thank's for the link smokey ,looks pretty simple to make .I think the only method that would be stronger would be the through wire method, which is perfect for wooden plugs.. IMHO. This is illustrated here @ salty's... Assembly Tips 2 oz Topwater Kit
  7. Kellure,Thanks for the generous offer, need about a dozen of them though.Do you sell them?I need a 1"screw,a coarse thread would be great but everyone that sells them seem to sell a standard thread size and do not have a choice between a coarse thread or fine thread screw. Bobp are you talking about the through wire method?you have my attention ,If your talking about making a actual screw with SS wire I really have no idea on how to accomplish this, care to elaborate more?currently I'm working on 6 top water wood plugs . 21xdc thanks for that link, looks like they have about everything there....cool site.
  8. Guys, can you get SS eye screws small enough from the hardware stores ?I found brass ones from the craft stores but they are soft brass or copper ,not strong enough for the fish I go after. Thanks Foamy
  9. Twisted Dick Jerkers.....now that's funny. Very nice baits..all of them.
  10. I use Etex allot,a good equal mix is important ,try using a syringe to make sure you get equal amounts of part1 and 2. I let it set for about 35 to 40min.then apply too the lure ,it seems to run less becouse its thicker , you still need to have it on a "dryer/rotisserie" till it sets completely , takes about 8hrs to be tac free.

    Lure stamp

You can also get stickers made with your sig.on clear backing.Kinda like those stickers you use to get with models,I know a guy who does this and once the clear coat is on you don't know its a sticker and it does not run..
  18. Mark, thanks for the tip about AZEK,I'm going to give it a try soon.
  19. Walkers are my favorite type of baits...you inspire me Bob.

    Shad Head Jigs

Was playing around with the powder paint today, some are coated with ETEX.A variety of colors..
  22. Yes I do believe it can be used as a sealer of sort but if you should put a chip in the Etex it would allow water to soak into the wood grain, don't believe Etex soaks into the wood grain like a water based sealer would. Maybe someone else could chime in that has more experience with it,don't take my word for it,just pondering here.
