  1. If it ain't broke...... Good to know its working well for you. This gives me hope! BTW....Awesome bird lures.....very cool
  2. Really diggin' the 3rd one(Sexy Shad pattern)...Nice looking bait!
  3. Any issues after using them and soaking the jigs in water(fishing) for prolonged periods of time? Ever had any of the weedguards come apart or anything after use? Any excess glue as a result of expansion as mentioned by WannabeeFishing?
  4. Has anybody tried gorilla glue for securing your fiber weedguard to your jighead after painting? I know most will recommend Devcon, which I know works too, but just wanted to see if Gorilla Glue has worked for anyone, as it is 100% waterproof as well. Pros? Cons? If you've tried it let me know.... Thanx!
  5. Any markers in specific or just plain old sharpies?
  6. I found this guy online: ^The Bullet Jig^ Big Bass Baits Fishing Products Scroll down the webpage and you'll see custom colored weedguards. I wonder what he was using to color them? Wish I knew?
  7. I've heard that also about the blade dip. Sharpies? Really? I'm gonna try that. I really like the sharpie idea though. Do you think the color will fade after soaking the jig for prolonged periods of time? Would it be wise to get another type of permanent marker that is larger with a flat tip on it, so that I can almost "brush" the weedguard with it?
  8. I got a bunch of clear weedguards for free from a friend. Would you recommend using them on regular(colored) jigs like green pumpkin or brown, as opposed to only on white/shad pattern jigs? Do you think it makes a difference to the fish? Is it possible to paint them yourself? If so, what kind of paint do you use that's effective, won't wear off after prolonged use, and can be bought cheaply and locally? Thanx in advance.... Alex
