  1. Predator baits has nice quality stuff and good prices, I've tried the Chinese knockoffs and they were horrible with the exception that they are very good for practice baits.
  2. Yes there are a couple different paint systems, water based which needs to be dipped in clear plastic after painting then there is the solvent paints I have no experience with that line but I've read that they are ready to fish without the dipping, go over to Ispikeit they have all that stuff and a bit of a description regarding them.
  3. Not sure if it's the same but I remember seeing a production video on public television and they were across the street from each other and the way I understood it yes they were one in the same but I think it was cast industries?
  4. In the about us section it appears to indicate maple but they worded it cryptic.
  5. Instant satisfaction would be soft baits get a starter injection kit and have at, I do both now, soft plastics and cranks and large salt plugs the cranks and plugs are awesome when completed but take more time and processes to complete over a much longer period time than plastics.
  6. Also confirm that the neo has a chemical proof needle bearing as the cleaners used can cause you problems if not im at work or I would pull mine out, the airbrush that is.
  7. If you have problems spraying don't get discouraged the NEO is very finicky even with different colors in the same paint line get a revolution or a eclipse and have at it much better brushes. Don't get me wrong I also started with a NEO but the performance and quality of the finished product was out of the park when I moved up so it helps during the learning curve.
  8. I've seen them used by lee butts for dipping and sure seemed to work good for that. Low volume of plastic and deep enough for most cases.
  9. Yep I second that Joanne's is a great start if you have one where you live wedding vail material comes in all sorts of patterns.
  10. Thats to funny, wonder how they can get way with that anonymosily?
  11. Don't limit yourself use both they both have their place.
  12. Nope it stopped working in ie for me a few years ago don't know what causes it, this is the only site that gives me fits.
  13. I think it would be easier if you tried to insert a 2nd wire keeper in that mold, it would be quite similar without all that machining, a wire keeper is hands down better than any lead keeper out there IMHO.

    Paints?

Yep I agree we breath enough nasty stuff with this hobby so wherever you can cut back is a plus, testors model paint has a pretty good coverage and flow but I think you'll have to be pretty knowledgeable with mixing colors as their color palette is limited.
  16. Yep and as a plus it smells good!
  17. Simple green, windshield washer fluid (no ammonia) and distilled water homebrew
  18. Think it was lakeside that offered a hand pour but that didn't last long.
  19. Read somewhere that lurecraft is dropping Del so go for it now before they stop selling his molds.
  20. I don't use the concrete sealers but I always inter coat clear with future/pledge and have never had a paint problem regarding top coats I find that it plays quite nicely with acrylic paint. I like Bob Smith epoxy and I'm probably not pumping out as many baits as many on here do but the future/pledge leaves a nice hard top coat for the epoxy to bond to.
  21. Yep del made it for a short time and they go for a hefty price when they do show up.
  22. Spend your money on the brush, a cheap brush will only cause you grief get an iwata hp-cs and you won't be disappointed
  23. Try donsairbrushtips he has a pretty good page on AB's.
  24. I don't have a pic but I also had a difficult time finding it up here in PA so I ordered it online from Wallmart and had it delivered it to my local store.
  25. I have it somewhere haven't seen it in years if I come across it and it's OK with the mods I'll post it up but it's been awhile since I last saw it since I went to injecting tubes
