  1. The iwata revolution is a good buy but I recommend the eclipse it shoots acrylics with ease, you don't want to be fighting your brush.
  2. I haven't used them but if I remember correctly you need an awful large amount of baits as once you activate the can you must use it as the pot life is short.
  3. I think what it comes down to is first getting started with him once you've made a purchase and you become a recurring customer you trump all other requests, he does nice work it's getting in contact with him for the first time that is so difficult.
  4. Well I for one have finally thrown in the towel I officially hate ie and will never go back, with Firefox I can now quote a thread and i'm not getting web errors as I did with ie.
  5. Ha that's funny I did the same thing with the colored mirror beads, worked well but how much bling do you really need.
  6. Try making a 1000 of them and let me know how you make out It may be unique and is prolly great for the home pourer but the price point would be astronomical, think about it I see a half dozen baits with eyes and 2 color injection in 1 of those sticks what would you have to charge per bait? But I do agree it's pretty cool looking that's for sure.
  7. Same here I'm using ie but I haven't been able to for a long time now works on my Mac though.
  8. Wonder if you could encapsulate the lead, say pour a small jig in lead them insert it in the next cavity up and pour the tin or bismuth? But I too agree the lead volume produced and introduced to our waterways by fishermen pales in comparison to the crap big industry gets away with.
  9. Get yourself a Iwata revolution or Eclipse some Createx, Wicked or auto Air paint some reducer for said type of paint and some blanks from Jim at predator baits and blast away, for instructional video's hit up Dakota lakes tackle or lure me in custom painted crank baits on youtube they have some awesome video's on the the process. Burn your eyeballs out searching this site there's a wealth of information from some of the best here.
  10. Yes to both questions you do need to stay with it and stir if you don't have or make a stir system. Cutting your scrap up and adding a little virgin plastic or some heat stabilizer but not required and all is good.
  11. Yep Teflon last forever easy to clean makes for a cleaner professional look to the end product.
  12. Just tried it works fine now musta been gremlins
  13. Yeah it looks like someone posted a full size pic and it made the gallery full width.
  14. If hand pouring look up "divided cup", if injecting with a dual injector look up "pulsing injectors" you should get hits on the subject also don't just use the standard search line at the top right of the screen click on the little gear next to it and add your info there it makes a world of difference.
  15. I intercoat with Future floor shine which is acrylic.
  16. Maple airbrush supply is up there call donna she can help.
  17. He also is the one behind the shooting star injection press.
  18. I use sheet lead from a roofer friend and it works fine flux and your set. Cast iron is best as it holds the heat and temp can be controlled better but it's not the end of the world if you don't have it. I used a non stick mini muffin pan without issue I don't think a release agent will hurt as it will most probably burn off quickly.
  19. See if there is a little i in a circle on the top right of the box where the video should be and click it it will give the youtube address or go to youtube and search middlefishlures
  20. Yeah the pressure that is produced with the injector's is insane but make sure you have a good clamp as well.
  21. It does both but if your not concerned about color as long as you heat gently you can or should be able to use up the plastic before you experience any burning issues.
  22. Don't be fooled by "airbrush restorer" I've been using brush restorer for paint brushes from AC Moore and Michael's and it works like a charm. I do not recommend you use it for internal parts just the metal.
  23. I too have one and works fine, take the nozzle out and use some chapstick or bees wax on the nozzle threads that's how I got rid of the bubbles and has worked ever since but I also second the eclipse you'll never need another brush.
  24. Think del offered one.
