  1. According to previous reports they are engineered to be exact but part of the agreement was that the logo must be present for them to have the license to manufacture the design.
  2. I agree temp to high, as far as color could be any one of the many things added to different lead alloys.
  3. Yep for reference Bob has it and the largest appears to be 5"
  4. The photo you posted appears to match the basstackle mold. I have the smaller one and like it not sure if he has a saltwater version though.
  5. Somewhat off topic but I put trigger stix on both my Eclipse and love them kinda gives a mechanical advantage and they are comfortable to work with.
  6. Well in short it does exactly that it lubes the moving parts, if I remember right glycerin based lube is hydrophobic so it helps preventing water based paint from sticking to parts internally. I would think it does the same for lacquer paints as well but I have no experience with them.in
  7. You can also try "kickstarting" the powder by turning the unit on and a quick stir with a fork to fluff the powder, sometimes this is all thats needed to get it started.
  8. X2 you need to try different types of filter media not all powder paint is created equal.
  9. Ultra molds sells this mold if I'm not mistaken, but yes it will take Del 8 years to respond
  10. HaHa sorry to hear that but I'm not surprised you must be running a windows operating system I have since moved to a mac albeit more expensive I no longer have these issues. i.e. was giving me fits locking up and all sorts of crap and I figured I would load up windows 10 but it would not load on my laptop that was only 5 years old so I gave up.
  11. I use glycerin and never had a problem, I believe Iwata lube is glycerin based.
  12. Ultra molds has a 4" slotted swimbait.
  13. Sure often with a gimbal on your drone you get that wavy "jello" affect while recording from a drone platform it was really evident at around 17 seconds in your test video. ND filters help correct this, there are other factors that may be in play but this often can reduce or eliminate the issue. High frame rates will also cause this as well. side by side example: this is just a reference video to show the effect of "jello" as you can see you may be able to correct in post but it is much better to eliminate before you even get to post and not have an artificial look to your videos.
  14. Norpro mini drink mixer on amazon like 6 or 7 dollars real time and frustration saver, all paint settles some more than others due to how refined the pigment is sure sounds like paint may have settled out of solution.
  15. Get yourself a set of filters that will get rid of the jello affect looking at getting one myself.
  16. Hum not sure why I've been using it for 5+ years with no issues, but you never know as I was not able to post quotes on here until I finally pulled the trigger and dumped my pain in the yoohoo PC for a macbook pro
  17. Carp, That's a Jewish delacacie called gevilte fish.
  18. Check back in a little i'm sure Kasilofchrisn will chime in he's a regular of collins and does some nice work to boot!
  19. I don't think trout would like that idea something about a recipe for bacon wrapped trout DOH!
  20. Well I can tell you that yes you can do multi colors and you can buy the small sand blasting AB or there is a product called powder water that you add to powder paint and is supposed to allow you to spray through a regular AB but I have no experience with that. Also a lot of guys use the tap method with great results.
  21. Quick question who is selling it these days I haven't seen that brand in awhile? I liked the last batch I got it was super soft a little bit too muck for my liking but it did cook and shoot good.
  22. Interesting thought I read that it got that name not from what it was made of but how it was formed, the metal was poured into a trough and the ingots were formed on the side of a channel thus reminding someone of a sow and piglets did I read that somewhere?
  23. Like said a I also shoot it all, when your talking AB specific paint it is usually milled finer that is why it is recommended for AB's but craft paint works and looks just as good, as long as you don't need extremely fine detail by all means use it but you will need say from .66 and larger to work with it without a lot of tinkering with reduction, I have shot craft glitter paint through my .66 Talon with no problems. Of course I'm sure you already realize that you will need a durable top coat to make it work but that's it, your only limited by your patience with experimentation.
