MT, because I send a knot to knot wars does not make it my knot. Perhaps fish n fool had never seen the knot before. If not ok. That doesn't change the fact that the knot had been tied before. And, if you read my first post I was not stirring any pot as everyone here thinks. I was stating A FACT. Period. Look at the link I have provided. It is a UNI KNOT. That is all I am saying. If everyone on here wants to crown fish n fool as the creator of the world's greatest knot, then do it. But you know, and I know, and fish n fool knows he is getting credit for something HE DID NOT CREATE.

Dean, the fish and fool knot IS a uni knot. Do you really think that fish and fool is the first person ever to tie a uni knot going twice through the eye? I don't think so. I have tied this EXACT knot for twenty years at least. So, he is not the first one to tie it. Just the first to claim it as his own. I am just saying that I know the truth.

Not sure who's it is. But I personally have been tying that same knot for 20+ years. This is a good knot because it is used for bigger tuna fishing on heavier line. It's also not as big of a knot like the double san diego.

The world famous fish n fool knot is not a new knot. Look closely at the way it is tied...... Looks a lot like a uni knot going twice through the eye. This is a knot that has been used for at least 20 years by the san diego long range fishing fleet. I do not mean any disrespect to anyone I just wanted to clear a few things up.
