  1. Sorry for stating the obvious earlier.Heres one on ebay I have one like its not quite a bottom pour but it does a good job if i can remember where i got it ill post that but holds 3.5- 4 oz. of lead. Here is the link VINTAGE " LEAD LADLE " ~SMALL~ **** REDUCE **** - eBay (item 220396297709 end time May-14-09 15:10:38 PDT). If this is not allowed I appologize to the moderators.

  3. Have you tried this web sight Advance Car Mover - Rowell Bottom Pouring Ladles . I dont know how to make it a hot link so you can just click on it so you will have to cut and paste SORRY!
  4. I dont put any salt in the Flukes my recipe is very basic 6 oz calhoun plastic 1 1/2 tspoon softener color and glitter.Usually 24-48 hours after I pour them I bag and put worm oil in with them. Then about 24-48 later there bone dry. Could the bags be a problem been using Ziplock Freezer bags. I have put the bags on white butcher paper to see if maybe there leaking but no oily spots on paper. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks Alan
  5. Sorry for barging in but I have a problem. I'm new to plastic pouring so far all iphave poured is Flukes using calhoun soft plastic. They come out soft and so far stay soft but when i put worm oil on them one night the next day they are bone dry.Whats up with that.
  6. Hey jigman you might try a nebulizer , its used for giving breathing treatments with a liquid medicine.Goodwill , thrift stores and yardsales are a great place to find them cheap. You can regulate the pressure with an aquarium valve. In a pinch you can also use them for aereators and air brushing.
  7. When my lee pot goes to dripping I hold a ladle up under the spout and stick a candle directly into the hole.Keep ladle under spout to catch wax and lead drips.About three seconds after sticking candle in spout it will spit out what ever trash is hung up in it,and it pour a solid stream againand shut off when you let the handle go.Repeat as needed,if spout is really nasty it may take a couple of tries.
  8. TMAN2 if you really want to use a can opener you could always reduce the speed with a wooden pully and belt drive.
  9. I use a rotissery motor off of BBQ grill to dry flex coat on custom rods. pretty easy to adapt to .
