  1. craig what i did was to buy "x" amount of molds then buy that same amount of mandrels and nosepieces so i could make twice as many baits with 1 color tails before i had to dip them...did that make sense at all??
  2. craig d. man i havent seen that name in a long time how are you?? i used to buy your tubes all the time off of ebay and i got my first kistler because you reccommended it to me after having elbow surgery in 2002 and then i got started making my own baits then quit for a couple years and start up again only to run into you once again!! man it really is a small world!!hope the change to injection goes well for you as it did for me. even though i still have like 40-50 open pour drop shot molds this injection flat puts the baits out!! good luck and glad to see your still at it!!! jon/pw

  5. am looking for someone to make a wacky jighead mold similar to buckeye lures flick-it but i wanna use a 1/0 60 30 degree mustad hook for a taller throat and use a couple strands of nylon weedguard material instead of the single wire as they keep breaking on me after 10-15 fish...any help here???

    Glitter ?

a microwave serves lots of purposes but think about this when you heat something in the microwave and stick your fork in it and take a bite and its cold and then you try another area and it will burn your mouth same thing when you nuke plastic! i would bet money you had your plastic WAY too hot if it bled any or had it hot too long!! try nuking it for shorter intervals and letting stand for a minute or so between times and let the temps mingle a little!! hope this helps oh by the way get a good infrared thermometer they are cheap insurance!!
  9. check on ebay there are all kinds of rtv molds on there every week
  10. man i have no idea what they would be worth but i dont care how long it took you those heads look MARVELOUS!!!
  11. way to go mike!!! i got some tornados from rose this spring in 7" i just wish she woulda let go of some of the 4-5" ones as well those are nice!!
  12. johnson bag is in chicago area and if you order before 2-3 in the afternoon they ship UPS and i get mine the next day. the UPS man hates it when we order 10000 at atime of some bags
  13. my bbcp soft in a 3.5 frog will float a gama 4/0 heavy wire hook. if i use medium i add a tbsp. per cup of microbubbles
  14. http://www.johnsonbag.com/ http://www.inpactpoly.com/ just like they are spelled...
  15. the plastic i use already floats bbcp medium
  16. they are gelatin capsule filled with some material that well.. it crackles and fizzes like an alka seltzer but wont kill fish like alka seltzer. bigger fish can eat alka seltzer and throw it up but i guess little fish it hurts them i heard. these capsules were for sale in the late 80's early 90's but i havent seen them for along time in stores
  17. and you wont find what it is made of because 1. either its not patented and then why would they or 2. it is so obvious you wouldnt believe them how easy it is to make!! crackle pills work better IMO
  18. the bag of zoom ol monster worms i have in plum apple are red bug with green blue and glod glitter...i told you this already pit!!!
  19. would also entertain any trades for bears molds or a select few from other vendorslike dels DES or plug craw molds, or bite me craw trailer from basstackle. willing to deal on these dont hesitate im sure someone can use these!!!
  20. for sale 2 of bears full round trick worm molds in 4.5" would like 70 a piece for them!!!
  21. we have 5 of them 4 with stirrers and they will always be with us until someone comes out with an affordable injection machine that will keep salt in suspension the 2 i have seen and got to play with both of them the salt sank to the bottom of the pressure pot...and that sucked because at the time qwe had the cash to blow on 1 or 2
  22. i could be wrong and i have been told that my tone is often abrasive at best...but WTF? so it takes him a month to make 800 8"? what if we all wanted some? how long do the rest of us have to wait?? just a thought i had sorry if im wrong!~!
  23. i am anxious to hear how it goes for you jim i just have so much money tied up right now in this process it is sopmetimes hard for me to see past that but i am always open to a good discussion on making things better!!!
  24. the clamping issue is one area id like to see all mold makers agree on. i have a guy working on a jig for all of my plug craw molds to sit in so that they are sitting with 1 corner up like a diamond but i am going to have to true another side as the bottom is already true/flush the way it was explained to me was that there will be some sort of like clamp bar to squeeze the molds to gether. i like this site when we can all work towards an idea and make ALL products better!! as for your grub molds jim as little amount of plastic as they take if you could line 10 down a side with a center runner to feed all 20 baits you could probably run 5 with someone to help you demold and never stop shooting molds..are you looking at something like a fat albert or a kalins grub? id really be interested in something like those as well, my bobs molds just throw out so many defective baits i hate using them!!
  25. hey jim glad to see someone thinking about and injection machine for the small baitmakers; my problem here is well a little history first. melly and i had 80+ cavities of dels 5" senko molds and were doing pretty good but we went looking for something to give our production a boost without having to invest in more molds. that was when we found bears baits and after about 2 months of talking with him and a few other people that were using them we bought 10 senko molds from him and sold our delmart molds. now we were able to make close to 900 and a couple times got 1000 baits an hour with the old molds; now though 1000 is a low number and we can kick out 1300 religiously. i honestly believe the time gained is in the demolding process screws and nuts take alot longer than releasing my speed clamps and opening hinged molds. i also have 12 of dels plug craw molds and would love for them to be hinged so i could boost my production on them as the customer i make them for usually orders 500 at a time of 15 different colors.
