  1. Giving away a $75 BearsBaits.Com Gift Certificate on the 15th at TackleResource.Com!!

  2. I just want a regular round head jig mold that has the insert to mold the screw lock in with it. All shakey head molds do not have a barbed collar to slip the skirt onto it. If anyone knows where to get one I would buy it right now lol. like the picture attached but have the stagared barb collar. Just like the collar on your football head mold!
  3. Wait so you could add a barbed color to a Screw Lock Jig for me??? I want to make a Jig that can still have the skirt but has the screw lock to put the soft plastic on it. Cant find a mold!! If you can make one that way that would be cool or if anyone has seen one that would be awesome too!!
  4. The cranks you guys make amaze me!! How long does one Crank Bait Take??
  5. Itty Bitty Chitty Spinny?? lol just kidding How about Min-Spin??
  6. I have no need for a football head that big but I'm wondering if I do a custom design if you can put it into a mold?? Great heads by the way! WOW
  7. Great Swimbaits!! I've never seen them before!!
  8. I dont think he colored them. They look black when you look at the thumb nail pick, but if you click on the picture it will open up bigger. Looks like the aluminum to me???
  9. One more thing!!! I just recently moved into a new house that has a workshop in the back of it. I'm trying to determine what I want to do with the workshop. How to set it up. It will have one wall for rod building, one for pouring plastics, and one for my lead baits such as spinner baits. Can anyone post pictures of their workshops so I can see how they have theirs set up??
  10. Thank you I have the rod lathe and it hold 4 spools of wrapping thread though. I would change one out when I changed colors or something. Thats pretty much all I have is that one thing lol. Anyone have anything to add??
  11. These are nice. I like them. These are your first buzz baits ever?? Have you made spinners or jigs before. Pretty flawless for a first, lol. Again I think they are great.
  12. I was hoping everyone could help me compile a list of everything you need to start building custom rods. I am building my workshop and I already manufacture my own baits and tackle. IE.. Soft Plastics, Spinner Baits, Buzz Baits, Jigs, and Jig Heads. I have used kits to build rods but I want to start building a signature series of rod for my business. The only rods I have ever sold were rods that I build and wrapped and went fishing with and a buddy said ..."hey I'll give you $200 for your rod, thats sweet!" Thats happened 4 times, lol. I'm going to get custom decals made with my business name on there, custom wraps, and grips. I just need to know what tools I need to get to make the life a little easier. Thanks Everyone, Korey PS. My business is not ClearWaterOutfitter anymore so I'm not using this to help advertise.
  13. I have a plan!!! You make an alternate account on here, dont tell anyone its you. Then give us your plans, lol. JK Totally understood.
  14. Del I'm sure you saw this coming but I'm wandering if you have any plans for such a build. Very interested in making one.
  15. Great information everyone. Thank you. Looks like the RCBS is a good buy. A little pricey however. Still haven't made up my mind but I like the responses on this forum. Thanx, Korey
  16. I was stirring with a spoon when I started this. I never purchased a stirring system because the pot didn't seem to work as planned. I also just went and bought a presto from Wal-Mart and altered it. Its quite possible I did it all wrong. I will definately be checking out the Holt machine. I will send you an e-mail later on jimcline. Have to get to work right now. thanks for all the responses. Korey
  17. I found the Wenesco website. It doesn't have prices but I e-mailed them. Found the link from the ebay listing. The listing said they normally retail for arround $4000. WOA....this may be further down the road if thats the case, lol.
  18. I heard the Clearance on the Lee Pots isn't quite enough room to pour spinners and buzzbaits because of the wires. Is this true?? I will use what works the best. Helps that the Lee pots are cheaper too if thats the way I end up going.
  19. For pouring I am looking at the Sta-Warm pots. Anyone have any experience with these?? Will I need to buy a stirring system?? Looking to get past my microwave system.
  20. Yeah I love Tax Returns, lol. I just found one called a RCSB Pro-Melt 110V its $350 anyone have any experience with these?? Thanx, Korey
  21. I'm actually wandering the same thing. I am getting really tired of using cast iron pots and cast iron ladels. Since its time for tax returns and I am looking at upgrading my soft plastic equipment and my lead equipment. I would like to know of a great lead melter with a bottom pouring spout. Even if its not a Lee I would really like some information. Thanx, Korey
  22. Hello Everyone, I am looking for a pouring pot and an Injection Machine. Preferably an Injection Maching that holds arround 3-5 gallons. Preferably a Pouring Pot that holds arround 3-5 gallons. A plus would be a machine that does both, lol. I built my own presto pot but thats not good enough. I just Calhoun Plastic and I want something that I can pour the plastic into, the colorants, and the salt. The machine does the stirring and the heating. With my presto pot I have to heat the plastic in the Microwave or wait 2 hrs for the Presto to heat it up, if it ever gets hot enough. Please give me links to companies that sell machines like I have listed. I had a link to a nice pouring pot that was industrial type but I lost the information too it. I'm looking to buy one very soon (tax returns baby, lol).
  23. Thank you GhostBaits I appreciate the information and will try to get ahold of Carolina Mike. If you do hear of anyone that will shoot these skirts and give me the color formula that would be awesome. I'm looking for 8 to 10 colors something that will be popular I guess but easy to match when I pour my own fatties. Thanks Again, Korey
  24. Bass boys thanks for trying to sell me your own "CRAP" when I asked you not too. You must be taking a loss then if your paying the 16 cents then selling them for 12 cents on your website. "Sounds like your full of it too me" I'll wait and find the wholesaler. I'm sure someone on here knows who it is. Even if you dont want to help me out.
  25. I'm going crazy trying to find were I can buy at Wholesale the skirts to start pouring the Fat Ika look a like. If anyone knows who wholesales these please let me know. I'm looking about buying 1000 of each color or more available and I do not want to buy from a second hand retailer. I've found them for 12 dollars per 100 and thats too expensive. I'm looking at starting my own hand pouring and giving them away as prizes on my own website. (Not going to advertise its in its starting stages anyways) Please PM me with the wholesaler, no retailers please.
