  3. well i tryed the calligraphy pen from the crafts 2000 store it worked but was a pain in the azz to me. also got a good deal on 25mm micron pigma pens on sale, one dollar each. tryed them, and the sharpie. found i could write alot smaller with the micron than i could with the sharpie . now as for the clear coat i found if you apply a couple light spit coats of clear and heat set ( i use a old hair dryer for that) you can then clear coat or dip with out the ink running
  4. if i understand this right, you are losing pressure at the airbrush, not the regulator. if so try checking your air hose first. ( use a blow gun). if its ok check the rubber o rings in the brush , one of them could be coming apart and blocking your airflow ( i have had this happen to me) hope this helps.

  9. my advice to anyone wanting a good airbrush is to go with masters airbrush model g44 ...coast about 60 bucks 2mm needle will paint hairline out to about 1 inch i have done custom paint for many years now ,and own many high end brushes the masters measures up to brushes that i have spent hundreds of dollars on . i would suggest you buy a extra needle with brush they are very fragile drop it and your done trust me i know keep your airbrush clean, and lots of practice just my worth hope this helps
  10. dan i would stay away from aztec brushes and save for a better brush. i have been airbrushing for years in and out of body shops i would try master model g43 has a 2mm needle will do a fine line spray coast about 60 bucks:yay: paasche talon 38mm tip also does a nice job, about 90 bucks:yay: paasche millennium 60 bucks:yay: iwata revolution cr 0.3 to 0.5 mm needle about 75 bucks:yay: just some of the lower end brushes i use all good and under 100 bucks the most important thing to remember is keep them clean clean clean........ and they will work just fine i have picked these brushes for there cost and ease of use hope this helps just my:twocents:
