  10. I am very happy with the Matzue sickle hooks that I have ordered and they fit my mold great that call for a eagle claw 570 hook but I have not ordered more then 250 per size at a time. Flatsrat76
  11. I just made some jigs with the eagle claw 570 and Matzuo 9010 1/32 and 1/16 with size 4 and 6 I am going to have to say that the Matzuo is a much better hook and worth the extra penny a hook, 570 is $2.10 per 100 and the 9010 is $3.15 per 100 Flatsrat76

  13. Cadman Great looking spinners, I would also like to know the process you used to make them Flatsrat76
  14. Walleyeman10 It sounds like the jigs you dipped were to hot and the jigs you used a brush on had a little time to cool before or while you put the powder on. The hotter the jig the more the powder will stick and melt to the jig. Flatsrat76
  15. Never would of thought of a lower temp tin not molding good with a cold hook..... Good stuff Flatsrat76

  19. Hawnjigs I don't get it, But I have seen Bismuth/Tin blends that melt low Flatsrat76
  20. I forgot to add on my last post I see that 99.9% Tin melts at 450°f , R92 melts at or about 466° F, But it has 8% Antimony in it and Antimony melts at 1166°F, wouldn't it make the melting point more then 16°f + - ? then 99.9% Tin? Flatsrat76
  21. Fatman I will check them out on ebay. On rotometals website they state that 99.9% lead is .4092 lbs.cu.in and 99.9% Tin is .2633 lbs.cu.in and I did the math and Tin is 35.65 % lighter then lead ............... .4092 - 35.65% = .2633 Flatsrat76
  22. pirkfan I also think the pewter would work well in the cooler months. I would like to thank you again for helping me out , saved me some time and $$$ Flatsrat76
  23. Why don't you mod your mold to accept http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/do-it-mold-parts/410529.aspx I don't think it would be that hard to do. Flatsrat76
