  1. OK , here's my 2 -cents How many of you guys since building and/or airbrushing baits have been able to take either sand paper or a dremel and alter a bait just enough to allow the bait to act different ? Some call it the "Hunting Effect" ? Which many pro's use to give them that edge. Mike
  2. Very Well Said .........Dave Mike
  3. I'd 2nd what Nathan said as/well 152nd , but only if you purchased the bait & not one they sent to you. Mike
  4. If anyone is paying $20 to $30 for a custom painted black market 110 , they must have some cells missing , one other guy on ebay is asking around $20 for his custom painted 110 ko's. The real deal runs $18 to $25. Mike

  9. Hey Guys It's not about people buying KO's , It's a load of sellers on EBAY that are trying to make the KO there selling to be as good as the brand name bait it looks like. I'm sure the brand name companies put a little more work into making there baits , then these off the wall KO shops. Someone stated about making your own baits ? I don't have those kinda skills , I can tell you this , I have a section in one of my tackle boxes which holds about (55) handmade baits from different builders , I can say this much , I need to talk to the Rookie about owning some stock in his bait building business , LOL The custom built baits I own , are nothing short of the wow factor. Mike

  11. Hey Fish The post in ebay which you stated about claiming there KO , works better than the original , That's the one I posted as/well a few pages back , that ebay seller uses that sales pitch a lot.. I agree 100% , if your claiming winning tournaments with these KO's backup what your posting. Mike
  12. I Like Those Baits , Very Nice Work Mike
  13. You just very well may have run into a bad batch of (KO's) , I use to buy them a few years back , I had too many issues with the way they would swim. & the people I paint for do not want KO's. I know a lot of people cannot afford the top of the line brand name baits & if the KO's work for them so be it. Mike (The Rookie Painter)

    White Crappie

Hey Ben Great Work On This Bait , I haven't used my DN2 yet , any storage issues ? Mike
  22. I'm laying down my base color first , what ever color I want my shell color , I'll lay my stencil down and shoot that color , once the shell color is down , I'll use the stencil again and start shading the edges with another color. If your trying to get a certain color mix , if you have a bait with the color you need post it , most guys here can look at the color and tell you what to mix. Hope this was helpful Mike
