  1. They may still be waiting on it to deliver from the holiday sale.
  2. Wait until you open that coffee one. Your fingers will smell like coffee all day.
  3. I have tried them but do not use them. They do give the color a milky tone. Even black is not black when you add them in. I got mine from LC but depending on your rigging it still may not be a true floating topwater bait.
  4. Yes. I replied to your email earlier today.
  5. I tried the lightbox and gave that up. Now I just film them outside on the same log each time. Clear to almost clear skies are the best. Mid morning to mid day works best for me. I also use a tripod to make it more stable.
  6. They all should float if you keep the salt out of them. I only use the "Green" medium form Lurecraft so I can't speak for the others. If you want an example check out my YouTube video.
  7. You are correct Pitbull. I should try another color other then green and you really can't beat it for the quality of baits it produces. I will take my "Green" plastic with a few drops of possible phthalate colorant over regular plastic loaded with it. Just remember everyone to also properly dispose of your colorant, softener/hardener (if you use it) and worm oil/scent bottles with those raw plastic containers.
  8. Yes you have pointed that out in the past but I have seen no evidence yet of that. So for the sake of argument let's just say my product is a whole lot "Greener" then Zoom, Yum, Yamamoto, etc.
  9. I have an open pour that goes 15 inches. http://fishcandybaitcompany.com/ZenCart/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=55_15
  10. I have a slightly used Basstackle.com Diamond Jig Skirt 3.75. Price is $41.00 including shipping, Paypal only. Here is the description from the site: 2 piece, 1 cavity aluminum skirt mold. Skirt is approx 3.750 in dia. with a .125" dia. center hole. Arms have diamond shaped ends. Perfect for sliding over the tip of most plastic baits. HAND INJECTOR IS REQUIRED TO SHOOT THIS SKIRT.
  11. I have to agree with 152nd Street. Keep it simple on you. You are just asking for more grief if your molds make 4 and you try and sell 10 per pack. You could use regular ziplock type bags or get the Poly ones like other store bought worms come in. They will run you $13 for 100 if I remember right.
  12. Maybe check this out. I have not used it but it was in my bookmarks. http://www.moldabait.com/index.html
  13. It most likely will be a stirring issue. I use the same "Green" plastic and have not seen any problems with it. I do shake it up real good before I pour it out to heat so I tend to think it is a mixing thing.
  14. I make the best hand poured baits out there that you can't get from anyone else. If you are looking for that special bait then this is your place. I produce baits for all species of Bass, Crappie and Bream. Fish Candy Bait Company is a small custom bait company that you can get baits hand made to stand out from the rest of the pack. By using the best and unusual combination's of materials we are able to give you the edge over the big boys with our out of the box thinking. I am using a new "Green" plastic for my soft plastic pours. The plastic is Phthalate free and more environmentally friendly then regular plastic. All of my baits can be poured in any of my colors or I can custom mix one for you. There are no mass produced baits here so you order will be filled on a first come first served basis. Each one is made by me when you place an order and not from stock sitting on a shelf in a back room. We are also an Eco friendly bait company where and when we can be so I hope you will join us in preserving the future of fishing for our children.
  15. I have to second that Avery Design Pro 5 program because I use it. For a freebie it is real nice and it mates up nicely with those shipping labels by choosing the template. You can also print some business cards if you don't have them yet.
  16. Like this one? http://www.basstackle.com/Shrimp_Mold_p/shrimpmold1cavity.htm
  17. You can always trim overpour. Get a razor knife or scissors if you like.
  18. LureCraft "Green" plastic is what I use for all of my baits. My customers like how it feels and performs.
  19. Oh I would keep a notebook if I were you. I work out all my recipes in one in my shop. Once I settle on the recipe I also transfer to my computer as a back up. It is so nice to be able to flip back and forth when making different ones so I recommend a spiral.
  20. Maybe try LC Bubble Gum and Orange or Sweet Potato. LC also has a Pearl Pink but not sure if a pearl would give you the same effect you want. Bear has a Hot Pink that you would have to tone down with Orange maybe.
  21. I use the "Green" medium and love it.
  22. Looking for some hand poured plastics then visit my site. http://fishcandybaitcompany.com/ZenCart/
