    I was desperate the other night for some red flake so I purchase some from my local craft store. Unfortunately when I mixed the flake in the hot plastic it melted. I assume there a specific type of flake that need to use with softbaits. Any help would be appreciated.

    I have used Alumisol for some time...with fantastic results. I have not experienced any smoke. Reheats well.
