  1. Talked with Dick last week and said he was have vender problems. He said he should have everything to mix his clear coat this week. God I hope I have around 3000 spoons ready for clear coat.
  2. Doing some salmon spoons and custom painted j plugs and want to make them UV? CS Coating has a product called uv blast lure coat and wondering if anybody here has used it and if it works. thanks for the info
  3. you want the iwata hp-cs with the 1/3 oz cup. I have both guns but use hp-cs 95% of the time. Its nice to have the bigger cup when you base coating more then one bait. hope this helps
  4. The copper spoons come from the factory clear coated. I will try to strip them beofre painting. thank you guys for the help
  5. I have been airbrushing crankbaits and sonars and have got that down pretty good and now taking on salmon spoons and harness blades. Did a search and didnt come with much. My question is I want to get a tranparent look on the spoons like silver streak or fishlander tackle. I have tried a few and dipped them in Dick Nites and the paint wrinkled. The paint just isnt biting. I cant scuff them up either. I am shooting auto air paints if that makes a diffence. Can I thin etex and use that has a top coat. Dont know how etex will hold up trolling for hours on end either. thanks guys
  6. price reduced to 175.00 and I pay shipping
  7. cleaning out my boxes and came acrossed a bunch of cranks I dont use. first 250.00 takes them home. there 92 baits total.....would be great for repaints. Lots of hard to find stuff in there. please call 612-859-5140 thanks and tight lines
  8. I use just the same stuff I use on my cranks and dip them in dick nites. Turned out great. Walleyes love them too. After I pour my blade baits I throw them in the sand blaster and rough up the finish so the paint will stick.
  9. Just a quick question? how many coats on etex do you put on your baits? I tried looking for the answer but the search forum seems not to be working. I have been using 2 ton and dick nites. I like dick nites but storage is a pain and 2 ton goes on so thick. I do mostly stickbaits and shad raps. Etex seems like a winner. goes on thin and my colors really pop and look killer. Just wondering how durable etex is? thanks guys for your help.....this site rocks..
  10. just a quick question? Can a guy top coat rapala original floaters F7, F9, F11 with 2 ton or does it go on too thick and affect the action of the baits? thanks guys......
  11. I have a used Paasche Vega 2000 and a Paasche VL....They are in pretty good shape and come with tons of spare parts....(14) needles, (12 )1oz and 2oz jars,(2) airhoses and a bunch of aircaps and tips, nozzles. I bought these guns used and have not used them. Ran water though them to make sure they worked and gave them a good cleaning. First 125.00 takes them home.......I will pay for shipping. Please pm me if you have any questions.
  12. Thanks for all the help guys.......Frank I am spraying createx over the primer just getting started and dont want no rookie mistakes and trash a bunch of baits.
