  14. i know this is kinda a late reply but anyway about what type of wood i use.. i mostly use hardwoods like oak or maple for jerkbaits. about the through wire vs screw eyes, i i make baits from softer woods like balsa then i would defineatly use through wire, the screw eyes wont hold in that at all but with hard woods its very secure with some epoxy not to mention its soo much more faster to use screw eyes than sawing the slot to hold the wire. currently i have not made any video regarding the actual shaping and cutting the blanks i have not had the time to make that yet, countless people have asked me to make one of those so maybe at some point i will get round in making one.
  15. i got it from my brother he had a jerkbait model that he called sliding bitch is i just ripped him off lol sounds cool to me never the less non taken the fellow who wanted me to make these just wanted a second copy of that pike pattern since he was scared he would loose it.

    weight spots 001

i would say that most of the time large darting action styled glider baits work best when they are weighted with from only 1 position, atleast that has been the case with my gliders, it saves a heck of a lot of time too when you only have to drill one or 2 holes while finding the right weighing positions so that the lure will sink level

    weight spots 001

psst i have a small tip for you.. you should make your own lead bars with bigger diameter that way you can use only 2 or ever 1 spot to weigh your jerkbaits, and you dont have to drill various spots to the lure if you want to make em sink. -Mikko
