if you go and check out that bands live performances you will understand the blood idea -
been flirting with the more darker shades of lure making lately, a friend of mine wanted me to paint and make a custom glide bait inspired by swedish band "lifelover". I'm not sure but this might be the first lure where the painter has used hes own blood to paint a lure, little gruesome i know but it fits nicely to the over all theme.

I've been itching to try hand painting lures for a really long time now and i finally got around in ordering some paint brushes that are meant for model painting. i have to say im even little surpriced my self in how cool it actually looks when you highligh certain areas on carved baits, it really makes the lure to come to alive even more. im defineatly going to a whole lot more hand painting from now on even though it takes pretty long to do. hehe at least it did for me on this first test subject.

So i decided to go for a little darket and simpler colors on this one, in fact it only has 2 different colors in it. Metallic black and normal opaque black in it, looks pretty neat if you ask me -

here's that new new improved shad that i have been toiling over the past 2 weeks. I must say there were some major difficulties with the mold and plastisol shrinking but luckily i was able to find a solution to the issue, no i just need to figure out how to keep the damn metal additive powder to stay in one place when i pour these things. the other color additives work just fine. the specs of these are 20 cm and 79g. the pikes in 2015 don't stand a change

these are meant to be used with heavy musky grade rods and reels that can handle big baits like this while casting, normal everyday reel n rod combos are not going to cut it that' s for sure.

so i havent posted anything in here for a while so i figured i would share this latest swimbait. its 23cm long and weighs around 155g so its a pretty big boy

so i saw this fishing movie where they were trying to catch these big rudd's and i immidiately fell in love with how the fish they were catching looked and thought hey im going to have to try and make one my self and here is the result.

As many of you know i'm a fanatical lure maker but im also a huge metal fan. sometimes is pretty cool when you're give the opportunity and motivation to combine the 2 together and make something out of the ordinary.

Figured i would show you guys a new version to my trout series ( haha if you can call it that) a crankbait model. i was not completely satisfies with the previous version of the tiger trout that i made, it ended up looking little bit too brown for my taste so i wanted to church it up a bit and make it little bit more vibrant. -

Few days ago i finished off the mold for my new smelt bait that i plan to have different kinds in the future but at first 2 prototypes i decided to go with a trolling bait with a saddle lip and a top water style Nirha (old Finnish top water bait). and of course since this bait is supposed to kinda imitate a smelt i though it was only appropriate that i should make at least the first baits imitating them and i must say they came out looking pretty nice

here's a new one for me and i must say I've never seen anyone else painting one of these tiger trouts before ether. i think it came out looking pretty sweet, and definitely different.

heres my lates effort to try and mimic a rainbow trout as well as i possibly can, i must say sometimes i surprise my self too this thing came out awesome.
