naturally the master was done by me but if were totally honest there is not that many innovative things that are "original" with the design that i did, wanted to make something that would work for sure. -
so yeah i finally went and did my very first soft plastic jigs. they have a internal weigh inside of them. basically a very crude construction with a wire with a led ball colors are very basic too since i dont have any paints yet but i guess time will come for that too, they should work for pike.

no broblemos guys, i do them just for fun and seems like other builders are more or less secretive and don't want to share there techniques, i found it being little bit arrogant and especially for beginners i though it would be a nice way to get into the hobby more when you don't have to learn everything by trial and error. over here in Finland there are a lot of good tutorials in books/ magazines and websites but since they are in Finnish most of the guys outside Finland don't really get to see them or find them.

i know it looks pretty odd -
i was using a oiless compressor before and it was cooled by air and sounded horrendous when i had it on, i mean good grief it was loud. i later on invested to a oil cooled compressor ( hansa thc 20a) and its virtually soundless even when its on its very hard to hear so i can use it in my apartment without annoying the neighbors, its kinda expensive but with the features you get with it, i think its worth it

alright i went all out with this next one its a 40 min long video of how to carve a topwater lure from start to finish, i've been asked to make one for since..well since i started making youtube videos so i finally caved in and did it lol. enjoy

i personally use 10 minute epoxy, you could try to get rid of the bobbles by hearing the epoxy with a heat gun or just stir the mixture very very slowly but still making sure it mixes, that's what i do now a days and i get hardly any bobbles, Envirotex and casting resins wont work here if your no using a mold. also if you have access to a pressure pot you can always collapse the bobbles under pressure, those things tend to be rather expensive and "normal" lure builders usually don't have them.

so i decided to go for a different route with this one, its most likely gonna be an auction lure for a benefit auction hold on one of the fishing forums that i go to -
it looks cool but it takes 1 hour to do just one side with that small scale pattern, when the upper one takes 20 minds for me to do both sides -
decided to update my mini tail jerkbait model to a more detailed from, i think it came out pretty ok

pretty cool, like the fact that it looks different than the normal pike patterns -
so been experimenting with deep diving baits recently and finally found seems like i got it right.

its true, the stencil does make all the difference in doing the scales this way -
thanks guys, there are still lots of combos out there that i want to give a try maybe the next once i will do will not be as bright -
not much to say about these once, just wanted to experiment with contrast once more

not much to say about this, i think it came out pretty nice -
that is still something i have to test still ,i could always add reinforcement stainless steel rings inside the joints to add more strength to the joints if it seems that i need it, but so far it seems that i cant brake the joints when i'm twisting them with all the strength i have, i use smooth cast resin and it seems to be very tough stuff .
