hey guys i really have not been horribly active in the forum section here but i though some of you guys might be interested in this new great looking material that i discovered its called fusible film and what it basically is a very fine thin plastic wrapping material that gals use in there craft stuff to make angel wings and stuff of that nature. i think it looks absolutely brilliant on lures too. it can be a bit troublesome tough cos you have to wrap the lure with it and use something to clip the wrapping material to the bait and make sure its very tight around the bait then you just take a heat gun and "fuse" the material to the lure and make it follow the contours of the bait and at the same time it even outs most of the wrinkles. it takes few tries to get a hang of it at first. heres a bait i tested it on.

been making a heck of a lot of lures these few years that i've been making my homemades but for some reason i've never done a popper before, witch is kinda weird since popping for pike is damn entertaining and underwear soiling kinda fishing -
partly yes, its like a walk the dog and popper in the same package -
these are quite small for me, im used to make stuff over 12 cm since i mostly fish for pike. these are pretty standard what comes to trolling baits that people use for various lake fish.

though i'd make one of these old finnish topwater baits that people used to use for trout and salmon in rivers. great fun and catches fish too

this is a concept lure that i did as a birthday gift for a guy whose girlfriend plays the piano and fishes for pike. came out pretty ok, i did not want to make it too flashy and though it would look better with a simpler overall look -

made these zander trolling in mind, its pretty challenging to paint these sort of small baits, esp when you have a fixation in fins and gills -
yeah made some perch inspired baits again. -
