My rookie opinion on this...I mainly pour RTV stuff, however I have a 7 cav 5.25 stick mold...I flour my salt and it works for me...I like 2 tblsp maybe 3 of salt..and it matched the sink rate of another stick very popular...Preheat mold???

gotcha....Have you tried checking the dif sink rate with dif amounts of salt?

I your beaver an open/top pour type RTV? if so try maybe just salt the bottom side of the bait while plastic is still hot...

I m no pro, but my opinion (I have all LC colorants) Lemon Yellow and Rootbeer...When I match colors, I use only a couple of ounces and when i get it I just multiply my number for a pot full...

Nice looking mold....I would try a weighted wide gap type hook....Might need some weight to act as a keel....Thats my guess....

What mold number is it? I have their 3.25, 4 and 5 inch molds...Mine run fine...I sell them in a few shops here and havent heard anything like that... What size jig head are you using?

I found some semi gloss 2x4 shipping labels at Uline. The red I use for my logo came out a lot better than the standard 2x4 paper avery labels....I dont know if Avery makes a semi gloss label or not...Uline sells them for around $30 for a 1000 labels....

You saw little flames inside the mirco?? Was the plastic on fire?? How long did you heat your plastic for and how long? I have never had one explode...knock on wood..

There is a place here in San Diego that does custom bags and it was the same kinda thing...I think 10000 bags...I cant justify that kinda money cause this is a side job thing kind of....I have two tackle shops here that I have my stuff in and my website didnt get any customers...grrr...It would be nice though to have my own style of bags... You have a nice website Jim. I just dont make the time to actually finish mine all the way. Maybe way I didnt sell stuff this last year...I dont know.. Cliff

Charlie, Do you have custom bags made or just the norm? If you do have customs ones done how much does it cost? I am using semi gloss 2x4 labels from unline with my logo.... Thanks, Cliff

I used the labels from w mart and my ink jet printer...size 2x4...The red looked kinda pink because of the paper...I found semi gloss 2x4 labels at uline...got a 1000 for around 30 bux...My red looks red, I like them a lot...

I just ordered 1000 8x4 from Johnson for $103.00. I dont think I got charged shipping! .10 a bag vs .20+ (shipping costs) from Lurecraft...Cant beat the price... In the long run you are saving $$$$ if you are selling your product....Just my .02 worth...

Did you happen get a Del's injection stick mold?? I am looking at getting a 10 cavity with the slide bar for laminates....Trying to find someone out there who has one for their opinion... Thanks Cliff

No problem...I do not put anything in the molds. I have tried spraying slicone spray to see if I could get the baits to come out better.....Not needed. Depending on the baits, just a few minutes for demolding....if you need any help let me know...

I have several, straight tail, curly tail, fat head, skinny worms, swim bait molds, 3", 4" 5" zipper worms...etc...I like them alot....I dont think you can beat the prices especially if you buy 10 molds of the same type you can save 15%. yes they come out shinny...very...I have my baits in a few stores here in San Diego.... Hope this helps....Cliff
