  1. I made my first one when I was 10 years old . But I didn't make my second one untill I was 27 years old .
  2. I got mine second hand , but Dayton on the granger website has explosion proof fans the one I have is older but works really really good . Its really flirting with a huge fire hazard if you paint anything that could ignite if you don't use a explosion proof motor.

  5. Recently I finally got 100 body's ready for paint and started to paint again . I have been using a piece of foam to make the airbrush back flush . I works really good , and then I have a tupper ware with the top still on it and I cut a hole in the corner of it so water doesnt shoot all over the place .
  6. Everybody has some great points . It's all trial and error and that is the fun part about it . I have a 15 ft pond in my backyard so it works great as a test tank . I just refined a new "jitterbug" I have been working on . And some notes said use a 60* angle . Didn't work for my lure , so went to the boards and others said 45* that it it right on the head . But it's just differnt for every builder .

  17. I think its a new trick but anyway . I found that i have a ton of those plano box dividers . I figured that they might make some good lips for cranks and such . So i traced out a pattern on them wich works great because they are see threw . then i cut them out with a tin snip . sand with some 100 grit sand paper and tack a exacto to trim the edge and wala . I havent tested them in the water yet but they dont break so i think that they might be good !
  18. I have been going threw the vzrious the tons and tons of fourms out there . looking at all of the topics and ive been thinking that a procces list would be great . What steps and products you use to get to your end lure .In such a way that we all could anilize all the differnt ways in a simple quick way . so it could go like this, (starting just after lure is finished sanded ) example: 1) drill holes 2) put in eyes { lure parts online } 3) base coat { krylon white primer} 4) 2nd base coat 5) light sand my be pictures would be great to !
