Look at one of the old lure sites . Joe's old lures and those places . Off the top of my head I can't remember for sure . I see one in my mind but the name escapes me me . Wouldn't be hard to make though .

Both hooks are still available . LPO has them or did . Almost any jig hook with a 90 bend will fit . Those old Herter's molds were pretty loose fitting . Not to mention a lot of flash to file . I don't think the 4G2 and 4G3 took 7/0 hooks . I believe 4/0 and 5/0 were as big as they took . Been some time to say the least since I had those molds .

I use ceramic cups that have sharp spouts . Kinda like cream pitchers . Find them at yard sales ect . for 2 to 4 bits apiece . Why use ceramic ? It holds heat longer . As well as it does not blow all over hells half acre should you sit it on something cold . It will pop then split but it won't go off like a bomb.

Your link for the spoon didn't work . However I my have the stuff to make you some spoons . Maybe we can work out a trade of some kind . Long as you don't need 100's of them . LOL I don't do much tackle anymore . I'm getting a little long in the tooth and lazy . That is a bad combination.

I chuck up a leather hole punch in my drill press . Put a level horizontal on the work piece plate . Adjust that to level . Then run the punch down get eye level with plate and punch If it needs tweeking I tap it with a hammer until the gap between plate and punch face looks even . I don't turn it on . I only use pressure . I place my tape or film whatever on a flat sheet of aluminum . Push down until I feel it cut the tape through . True I only do this for kill spots but I can make 600 or so in an hour .

How bout a Rent-A - Mold . Yes Sir that's what I said .Renter pays return shipping . Costs roughly 6 bucks to ship one . Renter puts up Full mold price which is refunded in part when the mold is returned in same condition as sent . I figured 2 bucks a day while the renter has it . This is just a thought in the rough I already have 3 molds out there with folks I trust . Lets have it . Acetone . Will thin almost anything . I use lots of vinyl . Never bought the thinner since the paint first hit the market . If you ever try to spray the stuff remember to keep your air brush close to the product . It spider webs bad given to much distance .

Did they say to use a regular airbrush .

There are paints made overseas that use nano technology . But Its not legal to ship powders and liquids like that to the states . Our guys here are sucking the hind tit because they don't even try to put anything out . What ever happen to American innovation and technology . Automotive clear is more than likely as clear/glossy as you will get in a rattle can . Also helps if the can is warm , like 60 degrees or so .

First I've heard of it unless you were using a mask with external air pumped in it . Then I 'd say your filters were bad . Guess you could save those moisture bags out of a bag of jerky or pack it with cotton then chunk it when the build up starts again .

Chill I'm froze to death . Ok even though i'm froze went to the shop an applied just a touch of red silicone to one of the molds eye cavities . Powdered it good with talc , placed a hook and closed the mold . Now that it's dry , opened the mold took out the hook . Trimmed the excess with a razor blade . Flexable 2 edge sometimes works best will bend and conform . Poured it . Bingo did great .

Oh brother , It won't really help . I built a three stage unit . starting in the bottom I put a plastic centrifugal fan that was mounted to free spin with air . Next stage was an air conditioner filter . On top of that was a cutlet of a vacume cleaner bag . could have saved my self the trouble had i looked up how much air force it took to turn the fan on it's pin . The force to make it turn was enough to shoot powder to heaven . Other than running two lines to the base I had no real success . I think I got the fan from an old hand vac it was a round top diffuser type where the veins were on a curveture . Fun to try and that is where I stopped . Didn't try a variable speed electrical fan . Might get rid of the pump system going that route .

Wish there was a video of every time one of us did something like this . Probably go viral on the net .

Betcha cadman is right . Your mold has the wobble eye . Bout 10 of mine do cause there so old .

I do like Brandt's concept much better though.
