    Cs Seal Coat

Didn't like it for tough fishing conditions . I agree with Jaw . Using it as a sealer might be ok . Iwould finish coat with epoxy . I generally use Klass Kote . They will formulate it to the viscosity you need . Also on epoxy, If you mix more than you need put it in the freezer . This will buy you more time before it sets to the point you can't use it . Generally three days more or less .
  4. Just a tid bit to add . I like to keep skirts , plastic and paint cooled at 38 degrees or so . Why I found that over time any thing will degrade in hot/cold climates whether it is in a can or a rubber type product . This is especially handy for plastic paints . Living rubber skirt materials will turn a dusty white due to temp exposure . It also helps with degasing/dry out after you open a container .
  5. Alot of the sponsors make them . What type/weight are you looking for .
  6. Well RATS ! Thought I had one for you but it's a 1069 smallest size is 1 3/4 oz .
  7. .062 wire dang that is almost a bycycle spoke .
  8. What he does is a pain in the kester . It takes a lot of work . Dosen't take very many orders to get you behind . To many operations equal time spent it will eat your lunch . But sometimes ya gotta do it to get something cool like that .
  9. I never use what I call a do noth'in bait . I especiallly wouldn't use something that tears out the first jerk . Then try to find ways to keep that bait malfunction from happening . Call me lazy , frugal or just plain nuts . It is what it is . LOL Great call on that one bass100 . Thanks for the vid it was a hoot .
  10. Order 15 molds per. or 75 total Min . order from Do-It (or it used to be ) and you can get a price break . Been a heck of a long time since I had a store don't really remember .
  11. How bout a skrat fly . Comes from watching to many Ice Age movies.
  12. Figured as much . Don't get a whole lot of those down my way . The ones I have done I cut the blood quill back some and didn't tie in the naked part of the quill . Seemed to me they broke out more easily than if you cut them back as far as possible .
  13. great job good song choice . Pretty cool .
  14. Go ahead and do injection by pass the hand pour thing . Most manufactuers of molds sell starter kits that you can choose the mold or molds in the kit . sounds like you need panfish type baits . Bass Tackle and Jacobs Baits has the best selection . I like the Jacobs injector for single shots . I would also go with the large injector up front . That way later you won't have to up grade .
  15. Shoot it at as low a temp as possible . But actually your best bet is to switch plastic . Use the CCM for dark colors .
  16. Pinch them together and hit the end with a wood burner or solder iron . Pull out a couple strands before hand if the fit is tight .
  17. Check Worth , The old style delta type blades were elongated . Made of hammered nickle coated brass . I believe they were 1 3/4 wide maybe 2'' . Heavy too and spin like heck . You can find a distributer on there site .
  18. I haven't thought of lumaflex in ages . Felt like somebody clonked me in the head with a rubber mallet . Haven't seen baits around here in a good while with it on them . Good stuff .
  19. I use that trick on a lot of slabs and spoons . Gives them a little bling . My baby girl who's not a baby anymore says bling is the thing . LOL
  20. Used it some on spoons and stuff . Never tried it on a crank . You can make 3D eyes with it too . Just chuck a leather hole punch in a drill press . put a piece of tape on a thick plastic sheet . Use the drill press as a manual punch press . You can cut 600 an hour . Put a pupil in the center and a drop of epoxy over that . This takes a while but worth it in a pinch .
  21. If you are familiar with flash type materials for fly and jig tying it is simple to use . Cut a piece twice as long as you will need for a tail . Run that threw the eye ,fold over . Then slide a colored tube over the eye and flash to hold it in place . Drop of super glue on the exposed fold at the eye . Could even use shrink tube . You can quickly have a bunch ready to go on your spinners before assembly .
