If I don't miss my guess that is a 7 '' worm mold.

A pinch is what you can get between your thumb and forefinger , A dab is what you can get between the first three fingers and thumb . A dash is what flies out of the container when you tap it on the rim lightly . A knock is when you bang an open container hard against the rim of your container . Keep in mind some guys digits are larger than others . LOL Smidgeon 1/8 tsp Pinch 1/4 tsp Dab 1/2 tsp Dash 3/4 tsp to 1 tbls Knock generally 2 tablespoons respectively.

Some times that problem happens if the wire does not have the clearance it needs to allow proper blade movement . Try adding a 1/16 or so between the twist and the clevis or add a tiny metal bead above the clevis .

Open wire for inland fishing . If its saltwater best to use twisted loop eye . Those fish are mean and tricky .

3D eyes will pop off a round surface no matter what you put on them if they get bumped just right . Some will just plain snap in half leaving bits on the lure . You can get the 3D effect by putting the flat eye on , epoxy over the head like a finished lure then go back and put a drop of epoxy on top of the eye to make the 3D effect . I use an assortment of different size hat pins for this . Seems to diminish a lot of bubbles . How ever I only do that in cases of emergency like being out of eyes .

OK took a look . I called them a screw up when I tied to short of a skirt on a jig . Just cut your skirt material short then tie it very tight on the jig . It will stand out like that away from the body . the length of the normal skirt is what gives it the weight to hang back . when it is short you get the porcupine effect .

Haven't seen one of those jigs . I can probably tell by looking.I do a lot of jigs .

Depending on how high the eye sticks up you can use tinfoil . -
The only time there is an issue is with pony head lures . You can make them for yourself but you can't sell them commercially or you will get a legal nasty gram from Blakemore . Even though the mold is older than the company .

I use talc powder for making two part molds .Powder the master before you set the first half then let it set until slightly firm to touch . Powder the entire half using a fluffy makeup brush . Blow off any excess Pour the other half . Speeds things up a little and both sides are cured together more or less .

If you are mechanically inclined you might build something like this to straighten wires .

I think they come in SS as well I have some from years ago I got there 5 or 6 still in the bag .

Some of the darker yellows will look orange in the container . Mix your own olive just go on line and down load a color mixing palette . Then you can mix a lot of colors from the base colors .

Nope the ear ball is attached to a wire shaft that goes through the rest of the parts . Any weight goes toward the tied treble away from the clevis and blade .

Here you go . They are a little bit fished as you can tell . Never did try to sell any of these . Takes just a tad of work . I'm getting a little long in the tooth so before I kick it I just as well share a secrete lure now and then . These are 1/4 oz heads . target species Crappie , sand bass , smallies , Just pick something and throw one at it .
