Thanks Jim, that means a whole lot coming from someone that makes awesome swimbaits.
  2. I have followed the same guidelines as powerworm has stated and have had no problems.
  3. Just need one of the above. If you have an extra you are willing to part with, let me know. Thanks, Thomas

    Bass tackle tube

Hi! I have the same mold myself and wanted to know if you noticed the thin tentacles where they join the tube in your shoots? I noticed that you dipped yours up on the tentacles a little bit, is this the reason? It seems that if I don't do something like dipping that those tentacles are going to rip off easily. Just wondering, Thanks! Thomas
  5. Whew! Glad you got that figured out because I could not figure out how in the world that could be. Thanks for clearing it up.
  6. Didn't make sense to me either. Just trying to figure out what I was missing. Didn't know I was going to get a smarta$$ remark back from him.
  7. "They averaged 759-825 degrees." In a 400 degree oven for 10 minutes?
  8. Nice color, what type of baits are you going to make with it? Should work fine.
  9. Is the top part of the insert removable on Basstackle's like it is on Bears so you can make a solid tube also?
  10. A couple of examples of the baits I have made with this mold
  11. Like-new condition and shoots a perfect bait every time. You can use the insert to make a different core color than the rest of the bait and to make it hollow, or you can leave the insert out all together and make solid bodies. Very versatile mold. Single cavity, injection. $75 shipped in the 48 CONUS
  12. When I do the dipping, I use crochet needles that have a rounded end. I have a dozen or more and dip them til I get the right thickness. I split tails with a razor blade. I had a post of pics and instructions on here somewhere. I did some that were 3 inches all the way to 6 inches. Works great!
  13. If you want a really good tube mold, then I just listed one in the for sale ads. I hate to get rid of it, but I need the money. It is only 2 weeks old and when I have the money I will be buying another one just like it. NO CUTTING TAILS! Shoot and you have a finished bait!
  14. This one you just shoot and remove and tails are already split!!! Shoot and it is done! This one is 4.5" and the body is 2.25 and the skirt is 2.25" shich can be cut to make 4" tube. This is an awesome mold which I will replace later on when I have the $. Only 2 weeks old and paid $107.42 shipped for it. I have since bought a new pistol and spent more than I intended too, so now I need to make up for some extra spent. I also bought 2 set screws to put in where you can shoot tubes that are solid also if you want. $97 to your door (paypal please)
