  6. Thanks again Deimai! It means a lot coming from you, I love your work.
  7. Kayjay these are acrylic paints from the craft store using a centuries old marbling technique. 1 in 5 lures come out right ,the rest get repainted.
  8. Thanks Braided Line . Cali's I will be careful but I did research and 10% difference in design is enough to get around trademarks and patents. This lure is at least 50% different. I usually trade and barter anyways.

  12. Hello Phil, Look into a type of sander that is called inflatable or bladder sanders. We have a few where I work and I use them to shape my baits sometimes. There is an inflatable bladder inside the drum that allows you to use various kinds of pressure. If you are doing flat work you inflate it all the way, but for rounding you can use just enough pressure to hold the abrasive sleeve on the drum and it works like a charm. I am not sure how much they cost but they are easy to make if you can find the bladder kit.
  13. There is actually a good market for contract etching. We have one where I work and it helps to pay the bills making plaques and signs. We primarily use it to engrave our logo on our drumsticks. You are one lucky guy to have access to that machine.
  14. They are roughly 3.5" long and it is a top water bait. The wings shorten your cast so you have to use lighter line. I fish them along Lily pads and Cat tails or anywhere near the shore. After it lands a simple twitch should trigger a strike.
  15. This one is more for me than the fish, but it swims perfectly.
  16. I am having fun with scrap wood.
  17. I used a transparent UV stain on this one.

    Flash Dragon

I wrapped this one in gold and silver flash.
  22. I figured out a good system for my wings. They are also replaceable now in case they don't survive the fight.
  23. I havent cast one yet we still have a couple feet of snow here. The wings are firm but flexible. I plan to make the wings detachable in case they get damaged. Thet float nicely in the tub.
