Thanks guys!! I painted a crankbait last night in the Sharky Shad, except I used a silver body instead of white. -

Thanks Man!! Yes, they have to be totally taken apart, painted, cleared and then put back together. I only know how to do the Quantum Pt reels, as I have fished with quantums for the last 20 years. Although I finally do own a Shimano Citica reel, I caught it and a rod, a few months ago, in a lake while fishing. I will do before and after pics on it soon. Patrick -

Large Tank Compressor Or Small, "quiet" Compressor?

I have a 15 gal with 120 psi. I can let it fill up to 120 psi and paint all evening and night with the one fill up.If you have room for the larger compressor, they are a bonus, but if not the smaller ones get the job done. Patrick -

Thanks guys!! I like to try some things that I havent ever done, just too see if I can do them. I guess its the challenge of it that makes me want to try it. I am really not sure about the bubble on the crank. I will let one of the bait builders chime in on that one. -

Thanks Timbo!! I was used to taking my quantums apart before I started painting. I always have took them apart to clean, polish and relube every year. I know them inside and out. I am not comfortable doing that with any reel. I have not owned a lot of other types of reels over the years. Good luck friend, when you decide to paint one of your reels!! Patrick
