  6. Always replace the eyes !! The sponsers on here have a nice assortment of different slyles of eyes of your choice. The baits that have no eye sockets, you can either use flat eyes or paint on new eyes.

  12. Mean Mclain was done in the foil photo finish technique. A Big Thanks also goes out to Husky for sharing this technique on TU. If it was not for the Rookie and Husky, I would not have been able to to make the baits look as they do. Thanks Guys !!

    Foiled Bullet Shad

    Another one of Matts bait that I painted and foiled. The Mad Shad and the Bullet Shad were my 1st baits to paint in this type of foiling. Matt was the artist, I just slung the paint !!

  17. You can thin your paint with water or a reducer. As far as color matching thats all part of trial and error. In time the longer you have painted, the color matching will get easier., the thinning of the paint will have nothing to do with your color matching . Good Luck with your painting !!
