I use Bears 4.5" Kickin Frog. Hinged Side Port. No problems with it. I just injected a little hotter, be sure and hold pressure on the mold and make sure to top it off.

If you use salt, the basic recipe to go by is: 1 cup plastic 1/2 cup salt 1/4 cup softener You can tweak to the way you like it. Me personaly, i dont use salt in my baits.

After I inject the mold, i let it set up a minute. Then demold, I pull the baits off of the sprue and lay them out on a big silver tray that i got from AutoZone for laying out parts on. Then I cut the sprue up and add it back to my plastic and reheat.

What is the temperature of the plastic? Are you pouring or injecting?

How big is the frog?? I have the 4.5" and I use a 5/0 WG with a screw lock. The screw lock seems to help the nose of the frog and helps it last a lot longer.

I like Bears 4.5" Frog myself. Its big but not too big. You would be surprised on how many small fish go for this frog. I use medium plastic and I add hardener. Its makes them alot more durable, and I dont add any scent. I use a 5/0 Wide Gap hook on em also.

I use Avery labels but with a inkjet printer. They come out good but not great. But if you use a laserjet printer they come out really good. But this is just my 2 cents. Here is a pic of my label.

Get you some 2x4 shipping labels from walmart made by Avery. They are pretty cheap. Or whatever size label you want. Then go to Avery.com and download the template for your labels. Open it up on your desktop and use microsoft office 2007 or openoffice.org (its a free version of office 2007) and design you label, or insert you own label. Make the adjustments so that it fit onto the shipping label. I use an inkjet printer and my labels comeout pretty good, but the really good ones are made with a laserjet. It's really easy. Buy you some 2x4" Avery labels at Wal-mart. Go to Avery.com and download the template for you labels. You can find thousands of clipart images online. Save them and insert them into your label template and then you can add whatever font you want. Use Microsoft Office 2007. Its pretty easy. I made my forum picture using the same method. Good luck. This is just a general stick baits recipe that alot of people follow: 1 cup plastic 1/4 cup softener 1/2 cup salt I myself do not like to use that much salt, i use about 1/4 cup to a cup of plastic. Just use this as a general guideline and tweak it a little yourself until you get a recipe you like. Like pitbull said it makes your baits sink the more salt the faster it will sink. I dont know if the fish like it as much a the fishermen do. Some say that the fish will hang onto it longer, I guess its just your preference.
