    SOLD

    offers will also be entertained.
  2. i pour some 4.75" swimbaits. 1, 2, and 3 color. mainly 2 color. 90% of the time i dont use anything but color and glitter. but on some batches i put some salt in them to help the bait sink a little faster. i dont think salt nor scent is needed. the bait is on the move. it more of a raction bait than a sit and soak bait.

    sculpin

to create the hook slot take some tin foil and fold it to how you want your hook slot to look. then straighten out some paperclips and run it throught the tin fold. now you can set that on top of you mold pour your plastic around the tin foil and have a hook slot.....make sur eyou let it set up just a tad longer before demolding.
  4. i saw one of you crankbaits in the gallery and you said that you cast it yourself. Is the crankbait solid Aluminlite or do you put the mold on a turner and its actually hollow? thanks jesse

    Med Craw Shad

so i wanted to redo my Craw Shad color. i feel like i have accomplished that. i really like the way it turned out. it looked awesome in the water today. i would like my orange to be a little brighter and i should have added a lil more orange to the red to tone it down a little, BUT i feel like it flows well and the colors work together. i didnt catch anything on it today, they only wanted top water. but i do see myself using this quite often.

    Classic Winner

i wanted to put my own twist on these but i messed it up (i know what i did wrong so next ones will be "mine") anyway, i even went ahead and put the mustad KVD short shank treble hooks on there now i just need academy to put another color on clearance so i can make a shad pattern.

    flatline

in case you cant tell from the pics, i did a set of gold scales, then did the green, but made sure they didnt line up all the way. so there is some nice flashes of gold that peek through. in the green i mixed regular opaque green with some transparent olive green and a little white pearl. and i added some UV enhancer to the green only. (looks wicked in the black light but camera sucks too much to pic it up. ANYWAY to the main things that jump out at you when you see it.....my air brush started acting up so i didnt spray the lateral line. i used red and black sharpie to trace the gill plate. these are H2O crankbaits. As far as the lateral line goes....i was trying to come up with something thst didnt look horrible, but was unique. i thought about fishing (of course) and i know every time i get a hit (especially topwater) if feels like my heart skips a beat. so...i came up with a "flatline" and this is my first in my "Flatline Series" eventually i will make a stencle so thst they are all perfect.

    Classic Winner

wanted to try out a "winning" Color. i think they came out pretty nice.
  16. go to bearsbaits.com and check out the colorants and look at lite melon. i'm pretty sure that's all i put in that one. if i added anything else it would have been a drop of rootbeer. but i think with the salt and flake the light melon is all i used.
  17. google holographic mylar click shopping. plenty of styles and colors first one is 5 bucks from amazon. Good Luck.

    bluegill try.jpeg

if it would have worked out as planned the blue and purple would come through where the mesh covered up, but it didnt work out that way lol. the orang is alot brighter in person
  19. is this close? if so this bait was one of my first pours. it was just salt and bearsbaits lite melon i dont remember how many drops.
  20. dont put salt in it. i have been using some stick i made when i first started and they are black grape with no salt and sink/wiggle just fine. make a small batch without the salt and try it, if you like it then make moreif not, check back here for replies
