you should open the swap to everyone. i just started painting crankbaits so i'm nowhere near as good as everyone else, but i also make my own soft plastics which are just as good as the store bought. i have done swaps on other forums that have been open to whatever and i have gotten inline spinners and several types of jigs. plus with the added types of lures its an even bigger suprise as to what your going to get.

That's a drop shot bait right? or are they big enough for a shakey head? You made that made from start to finish right? i remember seeing several like it is all kinds of awesome colors.

i kinda like both the colors. i know people around here dont throw stuff like that. i do like how when you experiment you see how the colors react. especially when you mix motor oil with things....magic happens lol -

i bought the molds from LC. I am not selling them just for me. If they make a big deal about it ill just buy the injection mold from basstackle. No biggie. Thanks for the heads up.

when i pour my 3 color swimbaits or even inject laminates i use the same size cup. BUT not all cups are created equal. 2 of them are lol. i have one cup that is slightly thinner glass. and if you set up all 3 cups next to each other you can see the marking are slightly different. i have them marked now so i know which one will heat up faster. anyway. even when you get the same size do a test batch to see if one heats up faster and mark it. As for burnt plastic...black it up and then add glitter of choice. when i burn plastic it just means i got more black with blue flake frogs coming lol.

i love chemionics. i have not had anything hard pack on me yet, i put 2 buts in the jugs to help when i shake it . I use 1 gallon at a time and only shake before i use it. with it coming out the tip of the injector, just tilt the injector and then quickly put it in the molds. i havent made a mess doing it like that. i also use a small injector, and i have 5 injection molds.

i have 2 resin molds of the craw. its cut down to be a chunck for jigs and the action is just fine.

i have a can of clear auto spray paint that says gloss, but its matte. one option you could do it to top coat with what ever you normally do...epoxy, auto clear, whtever. then go to a place like michaels, a.c.more they have a spraypaint section. pick you up a can of matte clear. if the bait is already top coated it cshould take much to to cover it in matte

i have the 4.75 size from LC it has a hookslot built in, no problems thus far on hooksets.

the color will always be effected. the floating bubbles are white glass spheres. there is no way around it. if you look at the squirrel tail worm or whatever its call you can see that the tails on those are off colored as well.
