Caney Creek started with Bear, but now they are expanding and are going to be their own company now. they will sell their molds on their site. (that's why its down) the molds at Bears are discounted to get them off the shelves so that people can start buying direct from CC. C and BEar will still work together but Bear will no longer carry the molds.

bearsbaits.com it's called a kodiak craw..looks a lil differnt but works. join the forum. i'm sure someone will make you a sample bag. great guys over there. i dont ahve that mold yet but they have that mold in all kinds of sizes up to 6 inch (the beast)

Trying A Bait Or Bait Style Before Spending The $$$

if its a bait that is one sided i will make my own mold and that's that. if the bait needs to be full round for what ever reason (stick baits) i buy the mold. does that make me cheap? maybe but i got into this at the same time i bought a 35k truck and i'm only a SrA in the Air Force so i cant afford to go out buying an alum. mold for everything i want. -

could you post about how many of each are made from one cup as well as state whether its open pour or injection? for example i open pour and i'm interested in the brush hogs, but would like to try the open pour over the injected. thanks

we have had several packages opened and lost...last christmas we had money taken out of a card from my wife's grandparents. oh and you know how netflix has that lil flap of paper you remove when you get it..yeah i have gotten 2 of those in a plastic bag that says "sorry"...net flix doesnt like me i made the manager of the post office type a letter to netflix each time explaining it was there fault. i hate the post office. (not all just mine here at this location)

i did that a few months ago...clear plastic with blue glitter and the other half is black. my stick mold has a small opening so its hard for me to pour 2 colors. they endup being mainly one color with a "belly" of another color that i pour first.

i have gone threw a 10lb bucket of POP. i never got it to fully seal. if you are going to be starting with one piece molds, use fiberglass resin. i made some trick worm adn some finese worm molds and i love them. smooth shiney bait every time.

sometime you have to add alot of color.....try doubling the watermelon drop around 30 drops and see if thats the color you want...shoot me a pm with any more questions i'm learning as i go so i know what you are going through..i also am using calhouns plasitc.

well you guys suck. i dont have any kids to steal crayons from. so now i'm gonna have to take my wife to IHOP and ask for the crayons and then ill take them home to try lol. i have a 4 day weekend coming up. i hope to try this idea out.

if you are married that might not go over too well lol. garlic flavored pam is a cheap alternative to all the spray on scents. if you do make your own good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Berkley Powerbait 5" Saltwater Swim Shad Mold?

man you can make a mold for that stupid easy. buy you a pack of them, get a cheap bread pan or something like it. some resin. put some double sided tape on the back of the bait and stick it to the bottom, you should be able to fit 4 or 5 in the pan. mix resin and pour around the baits until all are completely submerged. sit back and have a smoke, drink a beer, and let it harden. once done pop out the resin, pull out the old bait and put back in the pack and pour some of your own. -

also make sure all the moisture is out of the old plastic if there is moisture in there it will bubble and pop and if it pops it could sling plastic at you.
