  2. My guess is its similar to the way a lip on a crankbait works. Some people probably prefer the thinner blade. Probably really makes zero difference though.
  3. Every lure I have lost is because the line breaks. Usually the hooks straighten out first though. So I dont see a need for thru wire. Bagleys are glued in, and a lot of bigger companies just screw the line ties in without any glue, like tennesse tuffys.
  4. Walmart...by the car stereo wiring
  5. Lowes home depot harbor freight all have the adapters Lowes home depot harbor freight all have the adapters
  6. Well since you asked, nobody is responding because you asked about a berkley powerbait "ring" worm. If you had posted a picture of the bait you more than likely would have received some feed back. But I decided to Google a berkley "ring" worm, and received pictures of a "ribbed" worm. So what are you looking for?
  7. Yes, most lures need weight. But not all of them.
  8. I also have never tried mixing solarez, did not think it needed mixed
  9. I tried coating the bills with solarez, looked horrible
  10. Thanks everyone, hope it helps gives people some new ideas!
  11. The black pp I bought from harbor freight had a glossy appearance when it was initially applied with a heat gun. But after curing on 325 for 30 minutes ot was matte looking.
  12. My observations are it takes a good two days to dry. And I missed a spot on a lure a few days ago, so instead of recoating it in the art resin I dipped it in kbs diamond, and the lure has lumps everywhere.
  13. The best solution is time, it takes 48 hours to dry. Its still tacky after 24 hours. I just use 30 min epoxy if I dont want to wait 4 days.
  14. It is a personal preference but I leave the bill off until the last step. If I dont i get paint and epoxy everywhere and it looks crappy and swims funky
  15. I bought some and called fishing skirts. This was what they told me to do. Heat jig with heat gun, and dip in the black powder. Then bake in oven on 425 for ten minutes. Take the jig straight from the oven and dip in candy colored paint.
  16. Yea, I figured it would be wrong. Nevermind
  17. My question is would it be unethical to post his dvd on youtube? It would be so much help to swimbait builders, and he doesnt currently sell it!
