  1. I use super glue when in a hurry. Or 5 min epoxy.
  2. Here's how I do my thru wire baits. I buy 1/4" balsa at the hobby store. I cut two identical profiles, and stick them together using blue double sided duck tape. I drill the ballast holes, cut the lip slot, and shape the lure. Then I use a box cutter too split the two pieces. Bend the wire, and glue halves together.
  3. I use photobucket. Upload pic, click the info button, and copy the bottom URL. Then paste on to here.
  4. Yes, I use d2t over foil. It hides the seams well. Also, dakotalakestackle sells these http://dakotalakestackle.com/programs/shop/simplecart.cgi?&keywords=&lst=13&lnd=24&category=Unpainted_Bodies&sortparam=st&sortasc=dsc&startprice=&endprice=
  5. I use both paints, I thin them down to the consistency of milk. Using future shine and water.

Thanks fellas! Hokie, it's actually two different pieces of fabric layer over the top of each other. I have looked high and low for that fabric you sent me with no luck, however it did open my eyes too new possibilities, so I appreciate that! Rob

You can buy o rings at lowes!
  8. I have the DVD, it's well worth the money! I learned a lot from it, you also get a precut swimbait.
  9. It works pretty well, I tried it last night.
  10. Griffond posted a YouTube video on the wire line ties post, the guy in the video used a craft knife and whacked it with a hammer to cut lexan!
  11. On eBay they want 600$ for a set of six! Must be a collectors item.

    Buffs

I'm from colorado so I had to make one of these!
  15. Get a band saw, I started with a scroll saw. Switched to a band saw and was shocked how much easier and better everything was!
  16. I've probably said to much on this stuff already.... But here I go again! I love the way it looks on a lure, almost like there's no top coat at all, it just shines. I hate waiting for a week for it to cure, but it's worth the wait in my opinion. BTW, my buzz bait blade looks awfully good right now. A couple more days and I will try it out and see how it goes!
  17. I don't see the after......great looking bait though!
  18. Is it as hard as d2t, no! But it looks amazing and seems to be so so solid!
  19. I have to admit, I am not sure about this stuff, it feels soft to me but when I use them lures they stay clean. When they are hot they feel soft to me. When it's cool they feel solid
