I am an amateur, so take this with a grain of salt. I was trying to match GY pumpkin. I thought bears amber was a dead match, but I was told by TU members to go with rootbeer. Well when my colors arrived both colrs were way off. One to dark, one to light. So..........I mixed em together, 10 drops of each in 3/4 cup of plastic and 3 tbsp of salt with a dash of green and black glitter. And the color was dead on. However, I had the same issue you have. I could not see through my bait, like I could with the GY bait. I believe, the more drops of colorant you add, the harder it is to get a transparent bait. So I backed the drops back to 7 drops of each, and added one drop of red. Also, I lowered the amount of glitter, and it is a dead match now. So try what was stated above, fewere drops of watermelon and add one drop of a darker color, it should help. Also, I believe GY uses the sugar flakes to add weight and keep the transparent look. Good luck, Rob
