  3. I would use the boss illusion base coat. It basically is silver with black blotches.
  4. I would buy the skirt mold from lurecraft. It makes skirts with about 20 tenticles, then cut 6-7tenticles off and fuse them together with a lighter

  7. I had the same issues as you when I started. Do yourself a favor and read all you can. I bought the teflon base pins from lurepartsonline.com. Pour your jigs with teflon pins in. Then powder paint with teflon pins in. Cook paint without the pins and finally epoxy the weedguards in with devcon 30 minute epoxy. Super glue is what turns white....and no 5 minute it turns yellow.

  10. Gate shears ran around the hook eye pops the lead right off.
  11. My lathe doesn't get spinning that fast. I have made a few top water baits with pvc. And yes it really gets hot and dulls chisels really quick. But it can be done.

  14. How about just attaching the blade to the front hook hanger? It seems like your front treble would be snagging the swivel on the blade.
  15. Gst is concrete sealer that some people dip lures into.
