I've been using the Flickshake for the past 2 years and without a doubt it has improved my catch as far as numbers goes I'd say at least 3-4x what it would have been if I had not been using the Flickshake. To solve your problem so you don't have to wince anymore when you cast it, go to the hardware store Lowes, Home Depot, Ect. and find yourself some black 3\8" heat shrink tubing. Cut it into really thin 1\8"strips, slide it onto the Flickshake then take a lighter to it. Literally I can catch up to 10-12 fish on one worm now, before there was times I was going through a worm every time I caught a fish. Now I personally don't mind spending the $ to get not just the Fllick Shake but the Cross tail, Cover Craw, and every other Jackall product that I have used because they flat out work. In my opinion they are without a doubt the best soft plastic companies in the world. I've even gone as far as to ask a favor of a buddy of mine living in Japan, not sure if most people are aware that the products Jackall has released in the states I would say is roughly 30-35% of their product line. You can view the Jackall Japanese selection online there is a link to it Jackall
