I am interested in making a mold from some real fish for swimbaits. I have a few questionsand am open to suggestions. What is the most humane way to kill the fish without damaging it? Also I assume I will freeze it but use pins to hold fins and body position that I would like. Does this sound right? Thanks for any help I recieve. Until I get the products to make a mold I will keep fooling around with the PVC I currently have.
So I know you cant post on the forum but I thought since all this Charlie Sheen stuff is going on that some of you extremely talented individuals could make a color called tigersblood. I know I would use it because it is obviouslly how you win. Just a thought and thought it would make a silly but fun little competition between yall.
I have read the how to and alot of the forum discussion but have a question regarding these molds. I am making my own design and then making a pop mold of it. I know I have to make a pour hole but I read somewhere about a vent hole because I will pour by hand? any help or advice would be greatlly appreciated.
I just purchased the medium pourasol and some dye. I have never poured before but am dead set on making some baits of my own design. Although I have experience with other plasitols I will be more than happy to share my experience using this product.
At my work we have a massive amount of scrap hemlock and I am going to use it to make swimbaits and such. I just don't know anything about the wood and was hoping some of you might have an idea. Any info would be greatlly appreciated.
Thanks,
Steven
