i think it was mentioned a couple times, if you just backed off on the quantities of plastic you are cooking at a time, you wouldnt have to buy the stabilizer
you are keeping it hot too long without adding stabilizer. it doesnt have to do with the hardener. the stabilizer smokes off and you scorch your plastic.
you can find them on Ebay now and again, but they go for a good chunk of change.
fyi as well, just cause you dont plan on selling them doesnt make it legal.
the way i heard the story is Bob Jones designed the money craw, some guy that had a few contacts bought some of the molds, took them to yum and claimed them to be his design and sold the design to yum. they ran with it.
play with the ratios of Red:Blue:Yellow. when you mix the yellow and blue you will get green, and add a little red will pull out the brown side a bit. studying and learning the colour wheel works wonders when colour matching.
i would start with 1 part red:1part blue:2 parts yellow.
yup it smokes a bit, but the settling aint bad in the last few batches i ordered and bubbles arent nearly as bad as LW or Chem. i HATED M-F, stuff stunk so freaking bad i got migraines every time i cooked it.
i have a bunch of Bears 5 cav stick molds. no issues at all. they will need to be topped off after initial injection, i usually inject, hold light pressure for a five count and top off the sprue and move on to the next.
