I have a large saltwater deep diver under construction. I don't have the side to side waggle I want. Does the downward angle of the diving lip in relation to the lure body have an impact on the side to side waggle? What else might effect that?
I did that. It's still too heavy and won't swim right. The weight of the body, 6" is over-powering the diving lip causing more of a lurching motion that a side to side swim. I am still experimenting to get it right. Any more suggestions would be very much appreciated. I am pretty much a novice.
I am making large saltwater divers and need to lighten the body of the plug. I am looking at going to two halves with hollow center, but that complicates matters. What is a good casting resin, paintable, that is super light?
