  1. O man, are you for sure? I seen forums where it made it made plastic super soft and super stretchy........ or it was suppose to.
  2. After doing a lot of countless hours researching trying to re-invent the wheel, or trying to make plastisol more durable and really stretchy. I think I may have come across something , it seems the robotic, medical prosthetics, and the doll diy world add mineral oil to their plastisol and plastics to make it life like and stretchy. I was wondering if someone would expeirment with this since just moved into a one bedroom apt with no working room. This just may be a waste of product and time or the next big thing.... let me know or if i find space and time ill do the same.
  3. Yea that's what I was thinking. Or trying to make a d.i.y. small presto pot.
  4. Right now I have one! own custom design mold and have been hand injecting. My problem is that I heat the plastic up add my color, glitter and ect. Then inject my mold wait for it to cool to demold and then time to repeat. It seems that I have to re-microwave each time to get my plastic right. How would you guys keep my plastisol hot/warm with out re-microwave.? I did try a presto pot that I bought at wally world but scorched a lot of plastic and seemed to be too big for my one man one mold production. Anything smaller.? Also has played with the idea of a beaker heater or a beaker hot plate with a stirring system? P.s. mean while I'll be saving for jacobs injection press and more molds.

  12. I hate making mold boxes to pour my rtv silicone. What type of material is everyone using, I've tried plastic containers, cardboard, wood, and foam board. I find making these boxes seems to be very time consuming.... Anyone have a easy way?
  13. Strength in numbers right? Will we ( Soft plastic members) ever beat the number of replies or posts from our brothers in the hard bait forum? Also are we bringing juice and snacks to these meetings?

  23. I noticed there has been alot of posts where guys are having problems with denting and molds not filling correctly. I was wondering who warms thier molds before injecting or how do you guys keep your molds warm during the injecting process? I was thinking about a heating pad or some type of hot plate or flat griddle.... Any thoughts
