I have some I've been using and have mixed feelings about it. I cured some lures in the sun and some with just a basic black light from Walmart. I can't seem to get the shine that etex gives but it does seem very tough. I mainly use it now to just coat the bills on my KO blanks and it seems to make them a little stronger. With that said, I did come across a high intensity UV light that I tested yesterday. It dried the Alumi-UV very quickly on my test bait but in just 3 minutes of exposure to the light, I burnt the crap out of my eyes. I've been awake all night in pain and have just now gotten to the point I can keep my eyes open . I have done this before while welding and it sucks!!! I think this product has a lot of potential but be very careful when using these UV lamps. Most ordinary lamps seem to work fine but if you do get one of these high end lights like I have, use them with CAUTION!!!...... I let you know what the test bait looks like when I can see it...LOL

Was going for the look of the photo image some of these guys are using but without the use of an image/foil. Not as good as the image baits I see out there but I like it.

One of my personal favorite patterns for the local river. -
Several colors of blue and purple powder pearls sprayed over a black base coat. Looks pretty sweet in person but almost impossible to capture it with a camera. -

Great work as usual. One question though....how do you get the shimmer on the gill plate? I've tried a few different things and I can never seem to get the "realism" I'm looking for on the cheeks. Just curious. -
Thanks. I don't use it as a reducer and I no longer use Createx paint. I only use it to apply powder pearls for highlights when I don't mix them with my clear coat.

What happened to the Pledge with future shine? It was available at several local places and now I can't find it anywhere. I know they changes the looks of the container but now all I can find is their cleaner and not the polish. Anybody got a pic of the new container and name? Thanks. Joe

White base coat Pearl white Black upper half under scale pattern Pearl Silver Scales fading towards the belly Transparent Bright blue upper scale area and back Orange throat and tail Clear Base mixed with Blue Shimmer Powder Pearl from "Painting With Pearl" over whole bait. Add shad spots 2 coats of Etex Add hardware and then water daily -
