I buy all my lure blanks from PBB. Very good quality and service so I'm sure these WW's will be more of the same. A+++ in my book and I will definitely be getting some of the new wart blanks from Jim. Now I just wish I could afford to get a Rapala Twitching Rap KO or a Mirrolure 17mr KO.....LOL. The speck and Redfish guys know what I'm talking about

I'm not sure you could use this as a top coat or a sealer. I got some of it a while back to spray on my rain gear and it works like a champ for that but I don't think it'll work on lures. It may work on lures but I have never tried it for anything other than water proofing my gear. My guess is nothing will stick to it if you try to use it for a sealer and I don't think it will hold up to stumps, rocks and teeth as a top coat but you never know. Just my 2cents.

It is on the Hagens Fishing web site. Listed in the online catalog on page 90. Says it's high impact foam. Its as hard as a brick and has through wire construction so I guess they'll be pretty tough. Thanks for the help guys!!

I think they came from a place called Hagens Fishing. I tried to check their catalog to see if that was the place but I don't have the Adobe Flash Player on my tablet so I can't view the catalog. I'll check it out in the morning and let you know what I find out. Thanks JimP................... Joe

Got some foam blanks today from a friend and just have a few questions about them. They look like a spook and a spook jr. I've never seen anything like these before and just wonder how in the world do you prep these for painting? I heard of people making their own blanks this way but I don't know diddly squat about these things. He gave me 4 of each on a trade to paint him one of each and I can keep the rest. They appear to be very very hard but I know certain chemicals will eat right through them and I don't want to mess em all up. Thanks for your help.............. Joe

Yeah I've got etex on the kitchen floor a couple times from dropping lures. Most times I've been able to quickly wipe them off but this concrete sealer does not come off to good after 40-50 minutes. Oh well I'll just have to put that one in my box. Don't think the guy would want that one now.........."oh yeah, that other ones just got some new dirt and dog hair glitter. It's the new go to pattern" hahahaha -

To bad I just dropped one on the concrete while clearing the rear hook hanger. I JUST PAINTED AND DIPPED IT!!! Trashed!!!

Anybody know where I can get the really fine glitter that's on the Strike King Red Eye Shad in the chartreuse sexy shad color. I have some that same golden color but the factory stuff is more like dust it's so fine. I can't seem to find any that small. Thanks for the help..... Joe

Thanks man. My tournament was a bear of a day. Couldn't get bit on anything but a spinner bait. Rained all day long. I got 4 bites and caught 2. 4.5lber and a dink .The guy that won caught 3 in the first hour. 14.75lbs. Most folks didn't even get bit at all. I go up to Gaston Lake this weekend to pre fish for next weeks tournament.......I sure hope it's better than this one was. LOL Back into the paint shop to see what I can conjure up.......... -
