Hey guys, new to the forums but have a bit of experience with the hobby. I am starting to sell super hogs (4 inch) (sim to zoom) and 4.75 inch brush hogs (bears version) in green pumpkin or black with copper, silver or blue flake. They are salty, injected, and very soft. heed caution when reusing lures, if they are salty, sometimes they will still have moisture in them , which will cause sizzling and a little bit of splash when remelting

If you do POP right, then youll get a good finish on your baits. I like the aluminum injectors - easy to use and almost perfect baits every time - just dont use too many pounds of pressure and youll eliminate flash on your baits. The thing i dont like about aluminum, is that if your only working with one mold, it takes more and more time each time you inject for the bait to solidify. If you get it out too soon, the inside of the plastic is still hot and gooey and the bait doesnt form right. 2 piece injectors are nice, but if a small drop of plastic of gravel gets imbetween the mold, you can bet that the next injection is going to be fail because of excessive flash.

Try mixing some drops of brown or one or two of black. If i'm making green pumpkin, ill use about double the drops the recipe calls for 4oz

I enjoy making baits, but there is a certain amount of confidence you can convey if you start catching fish on your own hand made baits. At that point its no longer fun, its much much better!!
