Thanks Mark will try the the purple didnt seem to rite i tried several times but the base brown might be it will give it a try this evening.

Yes i am using salt and you are correct it has a brown look not as dark as picture thanks again for all the help i am going to garage soon to try again

I am trying to match cabin creek 37 dirty green pumpkin it is not as dark as it appears in there picture on site almost translucent but i cant seem to get it rite any help Thanks to everyone for all the great info here
