  2. does anyone know why the price of the hellhound blanks went up nearly 50% from erc!?!? i was going to place an order but they are 15 they used to be 10bucks. If anyone has a stockpile laying around i need about 10 asap. thanks, jason
  3. wood, wicked colors, devcon
  4. so cristal pc......not a good idea...melted the paint off some of my spoons...stuff is volitle junk!!
  5. talk about hit it on the head, knock it out of the park, you are spot on there skeet! I have used both...the etex seems thin, stays tacky too long which gives a longer window to attract dust and particles to trash your topcoat, longer production time for drying, messier dripping stuff, takes multiple coats to acheive same mil. level. I started out by using the etex but now i am going to use my last bit and am making the conversion to devcon. devcon all the way. very durable, very deep and rich looking, awesome finish for the time you took to make your bait.

I have a question,, how long do you keep your turner on after application? the envirotex i let run all night. here is a glider i did last night with the devcon...first time using it,,,look how smooth it went on..insane.. oh and one more ?, where do you guys get your 2t at?

  13. here is some i shot, i think they turned out good....what i am looking for is something i can attached to my drying wheel to get these guys coated and spin them so it doesnt build up on the lips and such on the blades. please see the picture for the blades i am using..if anyone has any ideas on turning them on the wheel please let me know. i have attached two pictures so you guys can see what i am dealing with, most are fluted blades so i think i really need to keep them moving. devcon 2t envirotex cristal pc i have all three and am going to try all 3.
  14. does or has anyone made or have a muskie blade turner or attachement that they can put on their drying wheel. I have started painting blades lately and am using cristal pc, devcon 2ton, and envirotex and i want to turn them so it doesnt build up... i need to get something built, just wonder what would work best?? aligator clips? it would be nice to have a rod to slide through them to keep them inline. thanks!!!
  15. get a bottle of cheap windex...everytime you change colors use that instead of water too shoot through,,,works slick...just shoot some in the cup and spray it out, you will be amazed at how good it cleans it
  16. i turned mine off too early last week, had some sagging on a couple baits,,,killer paint too, i was dissapointed in myself. Envirotex, i am going to let her roll all night from now on..i usually turn it on and leave it run all night but i thought i would get cute and turn it off after 4-6hours...WRONG
